The scientific features covered in this book “Four Boons of Hanuman Chalisa Enhance Skills of Professionals” are need of pineal gland (in vicinity of third eye or Viveka tattva or Hanumant Tattva) for scientific discovery; similarity between “Model of Particle Physics” and four boons of the prayer; The terms of particle physics found in prayer of Taitriya Upanishad; Structural Entanglement Between Truth and universe (SETU); How antioxidant and Glutathione of the human system can be kept hale and healthy through “Slow and Deep Breathing technique” (DRT)?; How Brain is composed of inert matter (five basic elements) and how the same (brain) can be disintegrated with the help of activating the neurons through meditation in the form of energy; The Need for Spirituality in the 21st Century in the midst of the Boons and Banes of the twentieth century due to scientific development; why scientist should follow spirituality (Not the religion) to obtain the “know ability from Unknown of Nature”?; Prashopanishad explains that how macrocosm and microcosm can sustain with the help of Prana (as force and energy) with  interlinking nine Tattva (entities); The world is restless because of underdevelopment of Right Hemisphere (Lobe); Management of time and mind in four fields  blossoms up creative personality, and How medical science lags to reach the root of disease as per “Four Noble Path of Buddha”?

Similarly, the Spiritual features available in this book are the vedic verse (Neti Neti …..) illustrates to lead the growth of left and right hemisphere  for the growth of AI and CI;  “Manasa, Vacha, Karmna” of Hanuman Chalisa provides the wisdom to understand the sheath(kosha); Importance of Pineal Gland and Scientist; Need of spirituality  for balancing EQ and IQ in political Science, Sociology, Psychology and Neurology  branch;  How veda explores the existence of animates and in animates?, and  Bhagwad Gita assures  the individual to fight against evils while remaining in worldly life

On the surface, it seems to be a religious book. However, this book deals with many scientific aspects including the similarity between the model of particle physics and a spiritual segment equivalent to the scientific terms. Technically, the four boons of Hanuman Chalisa are very versatile. In this book, spirituality and modern science are hidden in four boons of Hanuman Chalisa. The importance of four Boons covers the following areas in depth, they are a) the Similarity between Boons of Prayer and the standard model of Particle Physics b) the terms of particle physics found in the prayer of Taitriya Upanishad c) Boons of Prayer viewed in SETU (Structural Entanglement between Truth and Universe) d) Boons of Prayer mentioned in Bhagavad Gita and e) Boons of Prayer in Respect of Brahm and Maya.

Inspiration

Prashanthi Kuteeram, Bengaluru is the Hub for SVYASA Yoga University, Arogya Dhama, Ayurveda, and Naturopathy College along with management courses connected with Yoga and its Applications. Here, the day starts with the “Maitri Milan” program; where Hanuman Chalisa is first recited, followed by Gita verses connected with Karma Yoga, Raj Yoga, Gyan Yoga, and Bhakti Yoga. Lastly, Pujya Guruji or Elevated Personalities will address the gathering to end the “Maitri Milan” Program followed by regular activities in the respective fields.

Once I asked Pujya Guruji about the importance connected with the first recitation of Hanuman Chalisa in the Maitri Milan program. Guruji, in turn, asked me “Don’t you feel that Shri Hanuman Ji was a Yogi?” This was a source of inspiration for me to explore the importance of Hanuman Chalisa along with Hanumant Tattva.

The search for “Hanumant Tattva” began from that day onwards, and there is good progress to understand the existence of Hanumant Tattva in our Brain. During the investigation of Hanumant Tattva, the different types of present-day available meditations like omkar Dyana, simplified kundalini yoga, Vipassana, Yogada Meditation of Paramahamsa Yoga Nanda Ji and others helped a lot to frame the “Structural Entanglement Between Truth and Universe” (SETU). The limbs of the SETU Diagram provide the clarity for interdependency of chakras (nuclei) invisibly present in the physical body and brain system. The Bindu Dhyana (nuclei meditation) was the outcome (result) of all other types of meditation while framing the SETU. The functional aspects of different nuclei in the SETU diagram were further got clarified and endorsed by the Upanishads dealing mainly with yogic concepts like Mandal Brahman Upanishad, Prashopanishad, Pengal Upanishad, and Sandalya Upanishad. The eleven basic Upanishads having commentary of adi shankara are also helpful for adding a firm understanding between Truth (Consciousness) and Universe (Macrocosm).

The process of locating the third eye or Hanumant Tattva or Knowability from the unknown of nature is a little difficult task for the Sadhaka. But, the same can be made easy, if the practice of Ashtanga Yoga is followed by understanding the Upanishads connected with yogic practices. The Mandal Brahman Upanishad provides the milestone for Sadhaka to inculcate the third eye or Hanumant Tattva in the brain; especially, by going through the “Central Insight Approach of Meditation” (Madhya Antarang Dhyana). It does not mean that other Upanishads connected with yogic practice should be ignored. The main aim is to achieve the best possible deeper range of Meditation by practicing yoga and the achievement obtained in Meditation should be endorsed by the Yogic Upanishads.

By achieving this Hanumant Tattva, one can get the domain of “Knowability” from the unknown of Nature. This powerful tattva (Hanumant Tattva) is the primary source for all the spiritual masters namely Kapila Muni, Patanjali, Yogi Gorakhnath, Paramahamsa Rama Krishna, Swami Vivekananda & Shri Tulsi das Ji and partial source for all the great scientists like “Einstein, Heisenberg, Neil’s Bohr, and Schrodinger”. That is why, the Intellectual, Scientist, and seeker of Spirituality should know the “Reality of Tiny (quanta) Particles” (called the third eye of Shiva or Viveka Tattva or Mahan or Hanumant Tattva or Know ability from Unknown of Nature) existing in Microcosm (Human System) and Macrocosm (Universe).

1. HANUMANT TATTVA ENHANCES “KNOWABILITY” OF INTELLECTUALS FROM UNKNOWN OF NATURE

1.0 Status of Shri Hanuman Ji in different Continents of the World

Shri Hanuman Ji is regarded as a God mainly in India, possessing certain hidden powers helpful for obtaining a vibrant personality, professional ability, creativity, and purity in mind. That is why; temples of Shri Hanuman Ji are available in every nook and corner of Village and City in India. Shri Hanuman Ji has influenced the people of other countries of the world too, because of the “Easy availability of his tattva”. Some of the reports connected with his popularity are given below:-

1.1.1 The Statue of Hanuman Ji explored in the “IsthmoColombian Area of America”

The upcoming documentary, “Lost City of the Monkey God,” which airs on Oct 31st, 1990 on the Science Channel, Indicates the existence of Shri Hanuman Ji. The research indicates that a Site thought to be the fabled “Ciudad Blanca”, or “The White City”. According to ancient lore, the white city said to be dedicated to a pre-Columbian monkey god deity, is buried somewhere in the 1350 square miles of Honduras’s La Mosquitia region

Amid nearly a century of research into the remote Honduran rainforest, “Lost City of the Monkey God” examines a site thought to be the fabled “Ciudad Blanca” Courtesy of Science Channel. Scientists first identified an area of what could be the lost city in 2015 — some 75 years after American explorer Theodore Morde unearthed thousands of artifacts during his expedition to La Mosquitia, according to a National Geographic report, tied to the rediscovery of the White City. Morde returned with tales from indigenous people from the area, who claimed that a giant statue of a monkey god had been buried there. Elkins began his hunt in the 1990s — piqued by the discovery of a rock carving spotted deep in isolated jungle territory.

1.1.2 Hanuman Ji in South East Asia

Hanuman’s character is widely known in South East Asia despite having a cluster of different religions in this zone. This is because; the Hanuman is also the symbol of strength and courage. He always protects his people from evil spirits or demons, while helping them escape bad luck. His strength is indeed extraordinary. He can cross long distances in a very fast time.

The appearance of Ramayana stories in the form of dance performances is seen in various countries of South East Asia uniquely. The strength and courage of Hanuman Ji are exhibited in Ramayana valet at many eastern zones of Asia, the countries like Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, and India

In this connection, it has been absorbed that the Ramayana story is often widely performed in the place like Bali itself. There we can watch the Ramayana dance and theatre at Uluwatu Temple. In this performance, Hanuman often gave surprises the audience. In the middle of the performance, Hanuman will emerge from behind the wall by climbing to show his heroic action. This action is indeed very entertaining for the audience.

1.1.3 The Hanuman Tattva got experienced by USA National and Indians at Kainchi Dham

Kainchi Dham is situated in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand; where the safe of two wheels is like Scissor (Kainchi). In this Dham, the devotee found the auspicious place; where the power of Hanumant Tattva does exist. The believer of Shri Hanuman Ji used to get the benefit of this power for their physical as well as their mental development. The kainchi dham is famous for getting the power of “Know ability from the unknown of nature”. Every year, many foreigners, especially from USA and UK regions visit Kainchi Dham to get the blessing of the Unknown Power of Hanumant Tattva.

In this connection, the experience gained by some of the icons like Steve Jobs (ex-CEO of Apple) once visited and meditated in the temple, and Mark Zuckerberg (CEO of Facebook) also visited the Hanuman temple at Kainchi Dham (Nainital of Uttarakhand); where they explore the power of Shri Hanuman Ji to get “Knowability” from Unknown of Nature. Because of mysterious achievements by renowned personalities of the world, the Kainchidham is a well-known place for foreigners; that is why, Kainchi Dham figures in the world map to practice of spirituality for the followers of different religions

1.2 What is “Hanumant Tattva”?

The universe consists of visible parts and invisible parts (beyond the visible parts). Visible parts are seen with the twinkling of the stars in the night, but the invisible domain of the universe cannot be seen or observed with the naked eye. However, scientists could make it possible to explore the visible universe with the help of precision instruments like the Hubble Telescope and James web telescope (the latest one); where they are trying to explore the location of tiny particles and their functions with the help of Infrared and ultraviolet rays from the images obtained in James web telescope. This is possible at the beginning of the 21st century to have the possible views of the universe; though, the universe exists since many hundred billion years ago.

The Indian Rishi with his powerful insight could find the structural connectivity of all the quanta nuclei connected beyond and in the domain of the interstellar zone; while the formation of Nebula from Cosmic dust and also the existence of supernovas. Our Indian Rishi could also have the vision of a nuclear fusion reaction inside the ball of the sun; where the formation of photon particles is generated due to the Hydrogen Bombardment and formation of Helium inside the ball. All these happenings have been mentioned in different parts of Rig Veda, Yajur Veda, Sankhya principle, Sam Veda and Atharva Veda. The gist of these happenings in the invisible universe is also available in different Upanishads. The Veda and Upanishads call them by different names; which can be interpreted by scientific equivalent names given by the scientists. For example, Veda calls proton, electron, and neutron as Varuna, Mitra, and Aryama respectively. In addition, other equivalent terms of Science exist in Veda and Upanishad as different Devas (illumines Entities). The intellectuals should not get confused by the name “Deva” as the same (Deva) is given the name for Illumined entities with certain qualities (Guna). For Instance, the photon particle of science is called “Prana Deva” in Veda and Upanishad. Hence for all practical purposes, the intellectuals and scientists should not take Deva as any personality or person, but the same should be taken as quantum tattva with certain characteristics.

Indian Rishis found the invisible universe by diving deep inside the different parts of the brain and found the unique tattva namely “Hanumant Tattva” in mid of Psychic Tunnel of the brain; which is also medically known as “Corpus Callosum”, the white mass of the brain. This part of the brain is also connected by the Mid tunnel of the brain consisting brain stem at the lower end and the mid part of the brain at the upper end; so that, both together have easy connectivity from the physical body of the human system. Arising of the Hanumant Tattva provides vast visible insight; which can explore the unknown of the universe (Inside the Brain) in all directions depending on the purity, Energization, and Transcendental qualities of the Hanumant Tattva. This is a very powerful tattva and the same is evolved by different Rishis calling it (Hanumant tattva) by different names. For example, The Bhakti yogi calls this as Hanumant Tattva; whereas, Gyan Yogi calls it as arising of “Viveka”. Similarly, Karma Yogi calls it “Mahan Tattva”; whereas Raj Yogi calls the same as “third eye of Shiva”. In the field of neuroscience, this tattva exists after the exploration of the “Pineal Gland”.The image of the human brain provides the Status of Hanumant Tattva; which can be easily explored by deep meditation to achieve the power of “Knowability” from the Unknown of Nature.

The image explains that Rishi found the invisible universe in the brain, where Hanumant Tattva exists in the Corpus Callosum (White Mass of the Brain), connecting the sun (Bindu number 3) and moon (Bindu number 2). Rishi found the interconnectivity of the Body and Brain and how the individual can evolve up to the truth or Brahm having the opening gate at Bindu number 1 of the brain (Known as Turiya).

Bhagwad Gita States that the same (Hanumant Tattva or Third eye of the Shiva) can be evolved after exploring “Samatva Yoga”. Rishi Patanjali found the meditational technique in Ashtanga Yoga Process to evolve this tattva leading to the Truth (Bindu Number 1). Hanumant Tattva is known as “Door Keeper of Brahm” (Ram Dware tum Rakhware).

The author is unaware of the scientific approach to exploring Hanumant Tattva and believes that neuroscience did not have any systematic approach to exploring the pineal gland in full of its characteristics by easy means without using drugs. In spirituality, especially in meditation, there are certain steps to explore the “Hanumant Tattva” by following the Antaranga yoga of Patanjali. The same (Hanumant Tattva or Third eye of Shiva or Viveka Tattva and Mahan Tattva) can also be explored by following the methods explained in different Upanishads like Maitriya Upanishad, Mandal Brahman Upanishad, Amrit Bindu Upanishad, Pengal Upanishad, and Sandalya Upanishad. This Tattva (third eye opening) is known as “Samatva Yoga” in Bhagwad Gita. Mandal Brahman Upanishad Calls this tattva “Amaniya Bhava”; which leads to the state of “Amanaska”, the root of everything.

1.2.1 Need of Viveka Tattva (Third Eye or Hanumant Tattva) for Scientific Discovery

This tattva is known as the “Power of Knowability” from unknown of the nature (Prakriti). Scientists are engaged in the domain of nature for discovering the Unknown from nature; hence this tattva (Hanumant Tattva or Third eye) can help those (Scientists) to explore the connectivity of quarks with “Super String”. After knowing this (Super String), scientists will be able to solve the wizard of Dark Matter & Dark Energy along with neutrino (which is also called “Ghost Particle”) in science. However, the scientists should explore the methodology for evolving this Tattva (Hanumant Tattva); which is already established by the Spiritual Masters with the help of Yoga and Upanishads.

It is interesting to note that Shri Kapila Muni, the originator of the Sankhya Principle, could know the Mystery of Nature; by which, nature creates the animates and In animates with the help of 23 ingredients brought by Mahan Tattva from the universe. Similarly, Rishi Patanjali has given the concept of Ashtanga Yoga; in which, He stressed the “Chitta Vritti Nirodha”, which happens when Chitta becomes pure because of the absence of mind (Manas). This kind of scenario occurs when “Samatva Yoga” is obtained. Likewise, Lord Buddha gave the concept of four noble paths after obtaining this tattva, which leads to Nirvana. At the end of the 19th Century, then Swami Narendra became Swami Vivekananda by achieving the domain of “Viveka” (equivalent to Third Eye or Hanumant Tattva) through “Gyan Yoga”. By achieving this power, Swami Vivekananda used to give a call to Western scientists to work on “Prana” and “Akasha”. Prana and Akasha’s equivalent term in Science is Energy and Space respectively. Western scientists could understand energy (Photons) to the extent possible, but they have not fully understood “Space”. This is because science has a clear picture of the four dimensions of space including time; whereas, Universe is made up of Ten Dimensions as mentioned in Veda and Upanishad. Unless, the scientist understands the Ten Dimensional Space; which is the Main criterion for establishing the “Super String” theory, the wizard of scientific domains will be left unresolved for a long time.

Hanumant Tattva or the third eye resembles the pineal gland in the brain; which exists at mid of Corpus Callosum (white matter). SETU provides clarity among three lokas like Physical, Subtle, and Spiritual Loka. While diving down into subtle loka that exists in the brain, one can find the presence of Hanumant Tattva in mid of the Psychic tunnel. The domain of the same Tattva encloses the presence of the Pineal gland. In other words, the pineal gland exists in the vicinity of Hanumant tattva.

The question arises that without knowing this Tattva (Third Eye, Viveka or Hanumant Tattva), how could scientists like Einstein, Heisenberg, Neil Bohr, and Schrodinger could dive down to the depth of unseen universe to obtain the theory of relativity and quantum field theory. They would have certainly touched the peripheral surface of this tattva; by which, they got the “special intuition” which seems to be the radiant effect of Viveka Tattva. This provides the clarity that if the scientist can dive deeper down into the domain of Viveka Tattva; they will be in a position to obtain “Complete Know ability” from Unknown of the Nature. For this, the scientists need to have exposure to certain Upanishads as Neil Bohr used to get the concepts of Upanishad through Shri J Krishna Murthy; who is known as the Buddha of the 20th century.

In this connection, it is interesting to note that Yajurveda provides emphasis to acquire Spiritual knowledge and scientific Knowledge together. Verse number 12, 13, and 14 of the 40th Yajur Veda of Veda advocates that Eternal Knowledge or Gyana (Spiritual Knowledge) and changeable knowledge or Gyana (Scientific Knowledge) have to be understood together to have the welfare and complete peace in Human Civilization. The verse explains that those who follow the changeable knowledge (Scientific approach) only may lead the life of “Eat, drink and be merry”. They use their changeable knowledge (Scientific Knowledge) for partial evolution in life and they are in the dark (ignorant) as they have never explored the possibility of Spiritual Knowledge (Eternal Gyana). Likewise, those who are learning only Spiritual knowledge are also in the dark (ignorant) as they have not understood the function of biological life; which forms the basis of evolution. The above analysis indicates that a common platform is needed for the scientists as well as for the spiritual masters to exchange their respective knowledge; so that, Civilization can enjoy the materialistic world in Peace. That is why, Swami Vivekananda used to advocate that “The best of the West, that is science” and “The best of the East, that is spirituality” should be brought together to explore the highest possible knowledge for the utility of the world.

1.3 Prayer of Hanuman Chalisa

“Shri-Guru Charan Saroj Raj, Nij Man Mukur Sudhari Barnau Raghuvar Vimal jasu, Jo Daayak phal chaari ||

Buddhiheen tanu jaanike, Sumiro Pavan kumar ||

Bal buddhi vidya dehu mohi, Harahu Klesh Vikar ||”

The four boons (Requested by Shri Tulsi das Ji) can be explored in Human Body and brain despite passing different “age levels”. This means that these four boons have no barrier to the cast, creed, age, and religion. This is because the Human Structure consisting of the body and brain along with physiology and anatomy are the same for every one of us.

The Rishi or spiritual masters have deep insight to locate the four nodal points (nuclei) in the body and brain; So that, the four boons sought by Shri Tulsi das ji at the beginning of Hanuman Chalisa could be evolved in the human system. The four nuclei are i) Navel Centre ii) Heart Centre iii) Throat Centre and iv) Point between Two eyebrows. These centers can be purified, energized, and kept in transcendental nature; so that, the positive aspects of the boon can be inculcated by each kind of profession. The evolution technique of these centers have been employed for different professionals like i) Student ii) Youth iii) Senior Citizen iv) Traders v) scientist vi) Politician vii) Managers viii) Healthy Living ix) Karma Yogi x) Bhakti Yogi xi) Raja Yogi xii) Gyan Yogi. The analysis indicates that each professional can evolve One’s professional ability to the best possible extent.

This shows that each professional can provide the highest yield for which one is working. This kind of growth is possible in every kind of professional because of achieving divine qualities (Davik Guna).

The yogic means is used to explore the inner skill of twelve kinds of professionals. The same methodology can be used for other kinds of professionals in the field of Sports Entertainment, Music and dance, etc.

1.4 The Prayer of Hanuman Chalisa is a boon for professionals.

God has made a human being in his true form as god is completely divine and possesses all divine qualities. He is kind enough to bless us with the same Divinity in potential form in Human Beings. These centers of divinity are namely i) Strength ii) Negative emotion iii) wisdom and iv) Knowledge and they are supposed to be kept pure and movable. This is because; God wants us to lead our lives in purity and freedom. The growth of these centers is having different domains according to individual’s age and profession. For instance, students may need these centers for the development and rising of certain qualities which will help the student to become more valuable, significant, and vibrant among the mass. Similarly, Scientists may need the growth of these centers for the discovery of a new form of matter and energy.

The student can develop these divine centers for retaining chastity (Brahmcharya); good and pleasant relations with family members; providing respect to the teachers and the Guru; and welcoming and worshiping the guests. In this way, a student will be able to evolve the four divine centers that potentially exist in his inner core. Achieving this kind of purity and development of the divine centers, the student can achieve the highest kind of relation with family members, teachers, and guests, and he or she can keep the highest concentration on the relevant subject of study with evolving clarity in memory and finally, the student can become the very intellectual and vibrant student.

In the case of youth, he or she can make use of these divine qualities to properly establish in Strong, Weak, Ambitious, and Need based personality. Likewise, senior citizens can evolve their assets (Purushartha) related to desire (Kama), wealth (Arth or means of living), sense of duty (dharma), and freedom (Moksha) from lingering imprints. In this way, old people can lead a very pleasant life in old age without having any problems due to the generation gap.

Similarly, the trading community can also evolve these divine qualities of centers by which they (Members of the trading community) will be able to maintain honesty, integrity, transparency, and accountability in their profession and they will have a very healthy pleasant peaceful growth in their trading.

In the case of scientists, by evolving the divine qualities present in them, they can provide the easy means for keeping good health, minimizing poverty in society, balancing the educational mismatch, and eradicating or eliminating crime in society. The gift of the Scientists to society depends on the discovery in their research work; which (discovery) is directly proportional to the development of divine quality. In the field of politics, when the divine qualities of the politician are grown with purity, they (politicians) will carry out the political scene without involving caste, place, language, and religion. Generally, Politicians use one or two or even all four factors (caste, place, language, and religion) while dealing the politics for their temporary achievement, which harms the social structure of the country. That is why; politics is called a dirty game. If these factors are eliminated while leading the public, politics becomes a spiritual game, and by achieving this; individuals, society, and the country will prosper a lot.

Generally, managers seem to be very busy and they become workaholics and pay most of their time and mind at the workplace without caring much for their family, friends, and relatives and for themselves. Because of this, the manager’s life becomes very miserable .though, externally it looks very attractive. By evolving the divine qualities in themselves, they will be in a position to distribute their time and mind at four places namely i) Family ii) field of work iii) friends and relatives, and iv)for self. If all four domains are taken care of, the managers will be very efficient and productive and the individual (related to teamwork), organization, and the country as a whole will be benefitted. In the case of keeping sound and good health, one can evolve his physical, mental, psychological, and spiritual health in a hale and healthy condition by evolving the four divine qualities that potentially exist at the inner core.

In the field of spirituality, the sages can reach freedom by evolving these four divine centers (Manipura, Anahata, Vishuddhi, and Agna chakra) present in the dormant condition inside the body. For instance, Karm yogi can adopt non-doer, non-possessor, and non-enjoyer and achieve unconditional love by evolving these four divine centers. Similarly, Bhakti yogi can adopt Shakti or strength, Bhakti or devotion, Yukti or means, and Mukti or Freedom by evolving these four divine centers. Likewise, Gyan yogi can adopt Shravana or attentive listening, manana or carefully analyzing, Nidhi dhyasana or patiently correlating and deep contemplation or becoming aware of the existence by evolving these four divine centers. In the case of Raj yoga, Raj yogi can adopt asana and Pranayama (posture and breathing technique), Pratyahara and Dharana (withdrawal and concentration), Dhyana (meditation), and Samadhi (dwelling on the abode) by evolving these four divine centers.Four types of yoga are recommended for achieving the growth process by evolving the divine centers. The last state is known as Sakshi Chaitanya. The above analysis illustrates that the four divine centers explained in the prayer of Hanuman Chalisa are the nodal points for the purification and development of the consciousness (Chetana) of everyone in whatever field they are working

2. SIMILARITY BETWEEN “MODEL OF PARTICLE PHYSICS” AND THE FOUR BOONS OF THE PRAYER

2.0 Spirituality and Modern science are hidden in four Boons of HC

Spirituality is a subject that deals with the inner core of the self in comparison with the outer atmosphere extended in the heavenly domains. Likewise, Modern Science is a subject that deals with the outside of the inner core (self). This means that modern science takes care of nature in comparison with the inner constituents established in the human body. This will be clear by taking an example of the Human Body and outside the domain of the Human Body.

The science inside the human body along with eight chakras is in the purview of Spirituality; whereas, the atmosphere outside the body including the interstellar Galaxy and the interplanetary systems is in the purview of Modern Science. The functional aspects of the human body and Nature’s action outside the human body are comparable to some extent; whereas, the evolution process (Upward causation) for the objects differs in modern science and spirituality. Let us explore the hidden aspects of Prayer in Spirituality and Modern Science.

2.1 Boons of Prayer viewed in SETU (Structural Entanglement between Truth and Universe)

The Structural Entanglement between Truth and Universe (SETU) diagram consists of eight nuclei entangled between Truth and Universe; where Bindu Number 1 is under the purview of Truth and Bindu Number 2 to Bindu Number 8 are in the Purview of the Universe. It is a fact that Bindu number 2, Bindu number 3, and Bindu number 4 are the main force carrier while creation and the same (these three bindu’s) are the mirror view of Parmatma, the power of Parmatma and the appearance of Parmatma respectively. The Consciousness or Absolute (God or Parmatma) wanted to become many from one (Bindu number 1); then, He appeared in the form of three Bindu to create, protect and dissolve the creation. They (Bindu Number 2, Bindu Number 3, and Bindu Number 4) are the helping hands for nature or Prakriti and in this way; the creation is carried out by Prakriti or Nature. The above analysis indicates that four boons of the prayer take care of the nuclei starting from Bindu Number 8 to Bindu Number 3; So that, the existence of all the animates and inanimate of nature are taken care of. Bindu number 3 (as the root of the existence of all) can lead towards Bindu number 2; which is the cause or mirror view (Swaroopa) of consciousness (God).

Structural Entanglement between Truth and Universe provides seven stages with seven nuclei to reach the supreme consciousness (Brahman) in the universal structure. This means that human beings are in the world (Jagat) and from here (Jagat), there are seven steps needed to explore consciousness (atman). All seven steps have been indicated in SETU Diagram. The nucleus for Jagat resembles Bindu Number 8 of the SETU Diagram. In SETU, The first step is Jagat, or the world for the individual and the remaining six stages are in the purview of Purusha and Prakriti. The lower three steps namely Bindu Number 7, Bindu number 6 and Bindu number 5 are in the purview of the Prakriti and the same are referred in Manuscript as i) Play of 5 basic elements (Panchamaha Bootha Vilas, resembles with Bindu Number7 of SETU) ii) Play of Prakriti (Prakriti or Maya Vilas resembles with Bindu Number 6 of SETU) iii) Play of Purusha or Chetana under the grip of Prakriti (Chitta Vilas connected with Bindu number 5 of SETU).

Similarly, the higher three steps namely Bindu Number 4, Bindu number 3, and Bindu number 2 are in the purview of the Purusha and the same is referred to in the Manuscript as i) Appearance of consciousness resembles Bindu number 4 of SETU ii) existence of consciousness indicated as Bindu Number 3 of SETU iii) Presence of consciousness resembles with Bindu Number 2 of SETU (Structural Entanglement between Truth and Universe).

The SETU Diagram exhibits the sequential arrangement between Truth and the Universe; But, the four boons connected with the prayer of Hanuman Chalisa (Bala, Klesh Vikar, Buddhi, and Vidya) provide the means to obtain the strong base of divinity; so that, Next step of divinity may lead to attaining the Truth (completeness or Purnata of the Absolute). In this connection, It may be noted that the lower two boons (Bala and Klesh Vikar) of prayer of Hanuman Chalisa are in the purview of Prakriti and the Higher two boons of the same (Buddhi and Vidya) are in the purview of Purusha. The analysis indicates that these four boons of prayer are very essential and useful to lead a Spiritual life.

2.2 Boons of Prayer mentioned in Bhagwad Gita

The four boons requested by Shri Tulsidas Ji are i) Bala (Strength) ii) Klesh Vikar (Positive Emotion) iii) Buddhi (Intellect) iv) Vidya (wisdom); which are the triggering force for Force Chakra namely i) Manipura Chakra (Navel Centre) ii) Anahata Chakra (Heart Centre) iii) Vishuddhi Chakra(Throat Centre) iv) Agna Chakra (nucleus or points between two eyebrows) of the human body. If these chakra or nuclei are evolved they become the base for arising divinity in the human system. Subjects like Purusha and Prakriti are described in the 13th chapter of Bhagwad Gita vide verses numbers 19 to 22.

The Purusha is having masculine characteristics and Prakriti is having feminine characteristics. These two Tattva (Purusha and Prakriti) are the main ones to sustain the universe in perfect order. The lower two boons (namely Bala and Klesh vikar) of the prayer of Hanuman Chalisa are in the purview of Prakriti (Nature or feminine characteristics) and the higher two boons (namely Buddhi and Vidya) of the prayer of Hanuman Chalisa are in the purview of Purusha (Masculine characteristics).

Analyzing from the Bhagwad Gita angle, the importance of four boons of Hanuman Chalisa is condensed to two main Tattva of the universe (macrocosm); by which, the universe (macrocosm) functions and sustains amicably. Similar is the case with Human System (Microcosm).

2.3 Boons of Prayer in Respect of Brahm and Maya

The Upanishad talks about the attributes and Functional aspects of Brahm (pure consciousness) and Maya (Nature or Prakriti having the influence up to soul or atman). Many Upanishads provide the clarity between them (Brahm and Maya); indicating the respective purview of Purusha and Prakriti in the macro (Universe) and micro (human body and mind) universe. The eighth nuclei described in SETU (Structural Entanglement between Truth and Universe) for the universe and Truth is similar to the eight chakras in the human body. That is why, we call “Yata Brahmande Tata Pinde”; which means whatever the object exists in the universe, a replica of the same exists in the human body and brain.

The image indicates that Mooladara (root center perineum of the body), Swadisthana (Chakra One’s abode and situated at sacrum), Manipura (situated behind the navel), and Anahata Chakra (situated behind the heart) of Human Body are similar to the nuclei (Bindu number) exists at Bindu Number 8, Bindu Number 7, Bindu Number 6 and Bindu Number 5 respectively in the SETU Diagram. These Bindu are totally under the purview of Nature (Prakriti); which is also known as “Maya” in Upanishad.

Similarly, The image clarifies that Bindu Visarga (Third ventricle), Agna Chakra (chakra located at mid of two eyebrows of the forehead), Vishuddhi Chakra (the fifth chakra located in the throat region), and Anahata Chakra (the fourth chakra situated behind the heart) of Human System (in Brain and Body); which are similar to the nuclei (Bindu number) exists at Bindu Number 2, Bindu Number 3, Bindu Number 4 and Bindu Number 5 respectively in the SETU Diagram. These Bindu (Bindu 2, Bindu Number 3, and Bindu Number 4) are totally under the purview of Purusha; which is also known as “Brahman” in Upanishad.

It is interesting to note that Bindu Number 5 is a common meeting point for Brahman and Maya; hence the same (Bindu Number 5) can be understood as the joint boundary point for Brahman and Maya located at the Middle of the body called Heart Centre or Anahata Chakra.

The domain where Brahman appears has a Mirror view (own Swaroopa); existence as the power of the Brahman (His own Swabhava) and appearance of Brahman as consciousness (all illumined Entities) emerge as a dissolver, Creator, and protector of the Jiva. They (Three appearances of Brahman) exist in the interstellar, solar system, Interplanetary, and balancing zone of planets in the cosmos.

Similarly, the domain where Maya has its play (villas) along with the play of five basic elements, and play of consciousness does exist for the creation of the Jiva under the purview of Maya. They exist in the Macro cosmos s zone having plenty of oxygen, a Barrage of Heat flowing from the cosmos to the earth, and also in the Gravity above the earth.

The Mahan Tattva (illumined entities of Brahm) brings all the ingredients from domains of Brahman (interstellar, solar system, and Interplanetary zone) required for creation and hands over the same to nature or Prakriti to create the different Jiva as per the Prarabhda Karma(The imprints have to be enjoyed in the life) of Individual.

The four boons in the prayer of Hanuman Chalisa explain the essential limbs of Brahman; which is known as Satt and resembles Bindu number 3 of the SETU Diagram. This clarifies that achieving the Boons of the prayer, The Sadhaka can easily activate the essential “Satt Tattva” of Brahman hood before realizing the soul or Atman (situated at the third ventricle or Bindu Visarga point). That is why, the four boons connected with the prayer make Sadhaka to be Divine Person (Base for the Brahman hood) and the same (the four boons of prayer) is very useful to have vibrant, creative, and powerful personality in the professions like a politician, scientist, managers, and Yogi.

In brief, the role of four boons (connected with the prayer of Hanuman Chalisa) explores the “Foremost existence Tattva” (also known as Satt), the first essential limbs of Brahman hood- of “Sat, Chitt, and Anand”. It is a well-known fact that existence (satt) is the main nucleus (Center or Chakra), through which the soul (atman) controls and activates the “Eight limbs of Nature” (Ashtdha Prakriti) in the universe. The Astadha Prakriti is the combination of five fundamental elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Ether or Akasha) and three “Antahkarna” namely Mind (Manas), Intellect (Buddhi), and Ego (Ahamkara). The Ashtadha Prakriti is having changeable nature and the same can be advantageous for professionals if the same is used righteously. This indicates that four boons of prayer can change the working scenario of every kind of professional in the world.

2.4 How the boons are having Similarity to the Model of Particle Physics?

There is a query as that why scientists are not inclined towards spirituality. This is because; the Intellectuals and scientists are not clear with the words used in the Spiritual field, and at the same time, they do not have the clarity of spiritual terms in physical form or with any physical sign. Due to this, intellectuals and scientists are not inclined to mingle with spiritual masters. The media could be established to minimize the disparity between the terms and symbols used in spirituality.

To have the similarity between the terms used in spiritual concepts and the objects (symbols of physical aspects) existing in the universe, they (Scientists and Intellectuals) have to understand the “Virat Swaroopa” explained in Bhagwad Gita in the 11th chapter. A similar kind of Virat Swaroopa is explained in Mundako Upanishad; where different limbs (parts) of Virat Swaroopa (Vast Human body resembling God) are compared with the existence of the sun, moon, air, world, Earth, etc. This kind of Comparison provides the clarity that the human system (combination of body and brain) is the replica of the universe. Once, this kind of clarity exists among the scientists and intellectuals; then the interaction between science and spirituality will be simple. It should be noted that the chakra described in Yoga is in the vicinity of different glands exits in the human body. For Instance, the pineal gland, pituitary gland, thyroid gland, thymus gland, adrenal gland, etc are in the vicinity of the third eye (Hanumant Tattva), lower Agna chakra, Heart Chakra or Anahata Chakra, Manipura Chakra (Navel center) respectively.

The four boons requested by Shri Tulsidas ji from Shri Hanuman Ji in the prayer of Hanuman Chalisa are namely i) Bala (Strength) ii) Klesh vikar (Removal of Negative emotion) iii) Buddhi (Intellect) and iv) Vidya (Wisdom). The boons are acting as the catalyst to purify and energize the chakra or nuclei of the physical body and the brain. This indicates that these four boons work like a Mantra to activate the respective nuclei of the human system. These nuclei are also the indicator for the SETU connectivity diagram; which (SETU Diagram) explains the existence of eight nuclei including consciousness (GOD) in the Macrocosm and Microcosm.

In the case of the SETU Diagram, Bindu number 1 represents the consciousness (God or Parmatma); hence remaining seven nuclei represent the universe. Out of seven nuclei, the boons of Hanuman Chalisa occupy the four nuclei and they are Bindu number 6 for bala or Strength (resembles Manipura chakra); Bindu number 5 for Klesh vikar or Positive Emotion (indicating as Anahata Chakra); Bindu number 4 for Buddhi or Intellect (associated with Vishuddhi chakra) and Bindu number 3 for Vidya or wisdom (connected with Agna Chakra). The remaining three nuclei are Bindu number 7(Connected with Swadisthana Chakra), Bindu number 8 (Resembles with Mooladara Chakra), and Bindu number 2(Representing Bindu Visarga Chakra); which do not exist in the boons of the prayer of Hanuman Chalisa. It is interesting to note that Bindu number 7 and Bindu number 8 of the SETU diagram get clubbed with Bindu number 6 to form the atom consisting neutron enclosed by a proton at the Centre and an electron moving in its orbit.

There is a need to have a common platform for Basic understanding between Scientists and Spiritual masters to establish each other concepts. In case, if scientists and Spiritual masters understand the words or concepts used by them in proportionate ways or equivalent terms and get the similarity between them (Scientific and Spiritual terms); then, they will try to understand each other concepts clearly. For this, the spiritual master should have basic knowledge of science used for external objects like particles, forces, fields, matter, energy, time, and space. Similarly, scientists should have the basic knowledge of spirituality used in internal objects that exists in the human system like physiology and anatomy of glands, cells, different types of brain structure, and understanding of Neuron function in equivalent terms used in Veda and Upanishad. The concept provided in Upanishad should have similar concepts or terms connected with the outer objects of the universe.

In this connection, it is interesting to note that the four forces explored in Science namely i) Electro Magnetic Force ii) Weak Nuclear Force iii) Strong Nuclear Force, and iv) Gravitational Force similar to the forces obtained in Yogic Science, and they are called i) Udana Prana ii) Vyana Prana iii) Samana Prana and iv) Apana Prana respectively. This indicates that whatever terms and concepts explained in Veda and Upanishad will certainly have similar terms and concepts in the scientific domain. This is possible when the scientist will have some inclination at least in Upanishad and at the same time, the spiritual master should also have the eagerness to understand the basis of science.

The atomic formation in Veda states that Bindu number 8 is Varuna in Veda (Equivalent to Proton in Science); Bindu 7 is Aryama in Veda (Equivalent to Neutron in Science) and Bindu Number 6 is Mitra in Veda (Equivalent to Electron in Science). All three nuclei representing the presence of respective particles form together like an atom. This indicates that only Bindu number 2 (Vishuddhi Chakra of Third Ventricle) is not taken care of in the prayer; otherwise, directly or indirectly, the effect of the other six bindu’s is taken care of by the nuclei connected with the boons of prayer. This provides the Clarity to compare the boons of the prayer of the Hanuman Chalisa along with the “Model of Particle Physics” for “fermion” and “Boson” (indicated as “Photon”), leaving the “Gluon Boson”.

2.4.1 Similarity between Boons of Prayer and the standard model of Particle Physics

Scientists use the external environment as a laboratory, precision telescopes like the James Web telescope as an instrument for viewing the invisible objects of the universe & precision instruments like an electron microscope for measuring the parameters of the tiny objects that exist in the universe and frame certain scientific laws; which provide “Model of Particle Physics and five states of matter in the basic form”. Similarly, Rishis Uses the Human body and Brain (Microcosm) as the laboratory, the Movement of Human breathe as a Precision Telescope, and Mind (Manas) as an electron microscope (Measuring Instrument) for locating and identifying the tiny objects present in the human system. In this way, they (Spiritual Masters) obtain different results and the same is extrapolated in the different Upanishads under the framework of Purusha (having Masculine Characteristics) and Prakriti (having Feminine Characteristics). They (Purusha and Prakriti) resemble certain objects of the universe when viewed by the Mundako Upanishad and Bhagwad Gita.

It has been observed that there is a similarity between the Prayer of Hanuman Chalisa and the model of Particle Physics. The first similarity between the two lower boons of prayer (Bala and Klesh Vikar) is viewed while the formation of “Fermion Particles” in Quark Flavour and Lepton Family. The second similarity for two upper boons (Buddhi and Vidya) is observed while the formation of “Boson Particles” in the Standard Model of Particle Physics. The model of Particle Physics indicates that “Quark and Lepton” get formed after the Big Bang. They consist of three generations of Quark Flavour (having up & down quark, Charm & Strange quark, and top & bottom quark) and three generations of Lepton (having electron & electron neutrino, Muon & Muon neutrino, and Tau & Tau Neutrino). The particles of three generations in quark and lepton together are known as Fermion. The three generations of fermion particles are due to the impact of nature’s quality like i) Turbid quality (Tamo Guna) ii) Distorted Moving quality (Rajo Guna) and iii) Transparent quality (Sato Guna). That is why; there are three generations of fermion particles. The image “Fermion Particles in Standard Model of Particle Physics” shows the sequential generation of Fermion Particles; which is parallel with the “generation of Tattva (Entities)” needed in the physical body of the human system.

In case the boons are connected with the prayer of Hanuman Chalisa, the lower two boons of the prayer namely Bala and Klesh Vikar (resembles with Bindu number 6 and Bindu number 5) are attached to two nuclei of Physical Body. They are responsible to generate the Tattva (Particles) to interact and create respective forces needed inside the body compatible with the force generated by fermion particles while interacting. These two Bindu together generate the entities (tattva) required in Human Physiology (comparable to Scientific Particles) along with the domain for Jivatma equivalent to neutrino particle of science (at Bindu Number 5) in Human System. These two boons with respective chakras get influenced by three qualities of Nature Tamo Guna (Turbid quality), Rajo Guna (Distorted and Movable quality), and Sato Guna (Transparent quality).

In brief, the lower two Boons are having similar kinds of phenomena inside the human system and the same is similar to three generations of quark and lepton in the outer atmosphere. In the case of two higher boons (Buddhi or intellect and Vidya or wisdom), the boson diagrams of the standard model of particle physics are similar. In the particle physics model, two bosons are shown separately.

A similar kind (Parallel to Bosons) of entities (tattva) in the human system exists during a lifetime. The boson in the particle physics model are the particles (particles termed as force carriers) in the external environment of nature; whereas, Tattva (entities) equivalent to them (Boson) exists in the brain of the human system. The same is briefly described in the image. The model indicates that Gluon, Photon, Z boson, and W boson are the parts of Gauge Boson. In addition, there is a vector boson known as the “Higgs Boson”. They are the particles generated because of different forces occurring in the atmosphere due to the interaction of Fermion particles. That is why, both bosons (Gauge boson and Higgs boson) are known as “Force Carrier” in the standard model of particle physics.

The first upper boon (connected with Bindu number 4 of SETU or Vishuddhi Chakra) of the prayer act in the human system to have the appearance of entities (Tattva) connected with the mind (manas) leading to intellect. The same can be compared with the part of the Gauge Boson associated with the Z Boson and W Boson mentioned in the model of particle physics.

Similarly, the wisdom (Vidya) part of the boon is connected with the upper Agna of the human brain leading to the formation of prana, the firstborn particle from the Truth or God; which resembles the photon in science. This prana (photon equivalent in science) is taken in Pranayama to enhance the purity & intensity of prana (photon) in Yoga to establish the path of evolution leading towards the cause of the universe (Parallel to Gluon of Science).

In Yoga, the purest form for the cause of the universe is known as “Soul” or “Atman”; and the same is not covered by the fourth upper boon connected with the prayer of Hanuman Chalisa. The above analysis indicates that the four boons of the prayer connected with Hanuman Chalisa are having similarities with fermion Particles and Boson Particles limited to Photons.

2.5 The terms of particle physics found in prayer of Taitriya Upanishad.

The prayer of Taitriya Upanishad states that O Mitra, the Deva of day & prana (rays of the sun); O Varuna, the Deva of night & Apana prana; O Aryama, the Deva of eyes & field (mandala) of the sun; O Indra, the Deva of strength & arms; O Vrihaspati, the Deva of speech (vani) & intellect, and O Vishnu, the Deva of vast steps & foot. All the Devas should provide the welfare on us (Guru and Shishya), and also shower the blessing on us. I salute Almighty Brahman, who is the controller of all the Devas for their works. I also salute “Vaayudeva”; who is a replica of the almighty and truth. All the Devas including the Almighty and Vaayu Deva should protect us (guru and shishya) to have a righteous way of day-to-day transactions. “Om, Shanti, Shanti, Shantihi”.

In Taitriya Upanishad, Devas like Mitra, Varuna, and Aryama are having similar characteristics of an electron, proton, and neutron of particle physics model. The replica of Brahman, which is Vaayu Deva in Taitriya Upanishad, has two functions of the particles; one equivalent to neutrino particle and another similar to the Higgs boson of the particle physics model. Similarly, Indra, Vrihaspati, and Vishnu as deva resemble the functional aspects of photon, gluon, and gauge boson type of force carrier explored in the particle physics model. For example, Indra (equivalent to the photon of science) is Deva having strength (force or energy for networking) and arms (space for trafficking). Similar is the case with Mitra (equivalent to the electron of science) as Deva has a day (field of the sun to traffic the rays) and prana (as sun rays for networking). Other Devas have the similarities with the corresponding fermion and boson particles explored in the model.

3. STUDENT AND FOUR BOONS

3.0 Student

Shri Hanuman Ji was observing celibacy since childhood (Bal Brahmchari). In case one remains in a firm stance and observes the celibacy and meditation of Hanuman Ji, he or she can get an element of devotion in the heart. The character of Hanuman Ji indicates the firmness of energy, its utility, devotion to god, and discipline in life. Hence his devotee can also get these characteristics easily; especially, students and youth can follow the same to achieve success in life.

The prevailing complexity of the modern materialistic age, especially students and youth get misled by spiritual approach. This needs a correction through divine quality (to be inculcated in life) to balance the complex situation. Chanting of Hanuman Chalisa is one of the means to find the solution as Shri Hanuman Ji is the symbol of strength (Bal), intelligence (Buddhi), knowledge and wisdom (Vidya), and free from any disease (Klesh Viheen). It is said that by chanting Hanuman Chalisa, the students, youth, and devotees will be able to keep their minds on the present moment without dwelling on the past and future. This brings one out of weakness of the mind and the strength to face the complicated situation in life as Shri Hanuman Ji has shown.

Society creates an impact on the student as per its (society’s) development in education, culture, and environment. That is why; we find good singers, good artists, good scientists, and good social reformers from particular developed regions or societies. In fact, during childhood, everyone (student) feels to acquire the best possible position in different fields depending on one’s imagination and association with elderly people. The students get influenced by the life story of great personalities of the past, but slowly their careers take new shape depending on their ability and the development of their minds. This happens because their potential is not explored because of certain habits and poor nature (Guna) developed within.

In case to get rid of the breakers of inner potential, Hanuman Chalisa plays a vital role because of the fine vibration or tuning of its words or verses. Shri Tulsi Das ji has prayed to achieve four divinities (BAL or Strength, Klesh Vikar or Positive emotion, Buddhi or Intellect or Viveka and Vidya or Wisdom); which are the evolving centers for everyone. These four divinities are related to our four centers of the body and can easily be explored even in students’ life for obtaining smartness, sharpness in education, and subtle intellectual ability. Analysis shows that these four centers of the human system are very important in worldly and spiritual life.

The first ten verses of Hanuman Chalisa explain the characteristics and growth of Bala (Strength) which could be used by the student through observing celibacy. The same (strength or Bala) will be a helping hand for the student to develop memory, concentration, and clarity in the subjects depending on how far a student is observing the concept of Hanuman Chalisa. Shri Tulsidas Ji could explore the inner strength and make use of the same mentioned in Hanuman Chalisa under the first 10 Choupai. For example, the Choupai like “Ram Doot Atulit Bal Dhama” (Showing highest strength); “Anjani Putra Pavan Sut Nama” (Showing the best possible relation), and “Vikram Bajarangi” (observing celibacy) reveal that his (Shri Hanumanji’s) negative emotion (Klesh Vikar or Kumati) could be transformed into Sumati or Positive emotion. Because of being Balashali (obtained divine strength); he could achieve a vibrant personality (Kanchan Varan Viraj…..) keeping Gada (means to punish) for justice and Dhwaja (means to love) for love.

Veda Mantra states that “Matri Devo Bhavah” is the catalyst for everyone especially for the student to nurture the good relation with their parents and also to have better learning capabilities; which Shri Hanuman Ji could obtain. That is why; the verse “Vidya Van Guni Atichaatur” kind of nature Shri Hanuman Ji could obtain. Keeping his strong inner strength (Bala), Shri Hanuman Ji was always eager to perform the works related to Shri Rama (Ram Kaj). Hanuman Ji is always very pleased by praising the characteristics or Guna of Shri Rama. He was so powerful (because of Siddhi) that he could become very small like a grass piece before appearing in front of Mata Janaki but at the same time, he has shown the largest form of his personality to the servant of Ravana.

Shri Tulsi Das ji has shown the way to obtain the inner strength of our Human System; so that, we can be very useful for the parents, society, and also in the field of work (assignment). In this way, the student can learn the different methodologies for obtaining courage, confidence, imaginary capability, and creative ability by going through Hanuman Chalisa.

3.1 Hanuman Chalisa and Student

The importance of a student depends on how far they could develop IQ (intelligence quotient) and EQ (emotional quotient). Normally, college-going students need IQ; this is because they will be in a position to have better receptivity if EQ is developed along with IQ. Research-oriented students (especially in the field of science and spirituality) need to have the development of SQ (spiritual quotient) and they should have good relations with their parents, relatives, and teachers. When these factors are grown within them, they are bound to get vibrant personalities and success in their careers. Hanuman Chalisa is a helping hand for students to grow these qualities and the same has been shown by the image.

In the image, it is shown that selected verses of Hanuman Chalisa work as catalysts to grow the IQ, EQ, and SQ of the students. For example, the verse “Atulit Bal Dhama…” will help to develop IQ; the verse “Sita Man Basiya…” infuse EQ; and the verse “Tum Rakshak Kahe Ko…” enlarge the domain of SQ. Likewise, the verse “Tumhare Bhajan Ram …” is very useful to inculcate “Matri Devo Bhavah…..Atithi Devo Bhavah”. In a nutshell, we can conclude that Hanuman Chalisa can become the means to evolve the inner personality of students from the grass root level.

3.1.1 Celibacy and Good relation are the essential factors for Students

The God (Parmatma) loves those who are following the Vedic verses like “Matri Devo Bhavah…..- Atithi Devo Bhavah”. By developing these factors, anyone can truly follow and act on the universal mantra like “Vasudev Kutumbkam (The complete world is the family members). Shri Bajrang Bali was a true worshiper of parents, teachers & guests and also followed the concept of universal brotherhood. These verses of Veda take us out from the negative sense domain to the positive sense domain. By this analysis, Shri Tulsi Das ji is indicating what should be our Dharma (Duty); so that, we should remain as an asset to the society. For this, it is important to keep a very good relationship with kith & kin and also with associates. For example, we must understand what our duty to the associates is and what their right to take from us is. This kind of approach will remove the generation gap, normally observed these days in families. In life, in case the students want to grow in a positive direction, they have to purify and develop the inner instrument (Antahkarna) with a positive attitude. This is possible only in a student’s life and the same can be grown with the help of natural Tapas like getting up early in the morning (Brahm Muhurt), taking part in yoga asana or some other exercise, and following the principle of “Yuktahar Viharashya Cha….” of Bhagwad Gita; so that, the student will have better concentration on their studies.

3.2 The importance of the Mind or Manas (right lobe) in Student Life

We have five Sense organs (Gyan Indriya) and five Action organs (Karm Indriya) to execute our day-to-day function. In addition, we have an inner instrument (Antahkarna) and they are namely i) Manas (Mind) ii) Buddhi (Intellect) iii) Ahamkara (Ego), and iv) Chitta (Mind stuff or memory). Tattva Vetta and Yogi have observed that the children are in the grip of nature up to the age of five to seven years. That is why, during this period a lot of precautions are taken to maintain the health of children. After seven years, nature (Prakriti) removes the grip on the growth of children.

Between the ages of seven to fourteen years, there will be the growth of mind (manas) for the student when they are in the secondary level of education. The quality of mind is to provide shape and form of any imaginary and visualized items. With the help of a growing mind, the students can interpret the creative aspects of higher concepts in life. When the mind is progressively evolved or developed, a vibrant personality is grown in the field of engineering, medicine, arts, music, dance, software, accounting, etc.

During the age period between fourteen to twenty-one years, the intellectual (Buddhi) domain of a student is grown to the maximum possible in life. They will have a logical consciousness and they will be alert in answering any complex questions. At this stage, the students can scrutinize the subject in depth and they can investigate the hidden theme of the subject. The fully grown intellect will make them (students) experts in their respective fields.

The analysis shows that the age between seven to twenty-one years is a very important period for the students to observe discipline and celibacy; so that, they can achieve complete growth in the dimensions of major inner instruments (Antahkarna). This is possible, when the students get good relation with the family, and friends & relatives in society. The parents as well as students should make use of this period; so that, the future of youth hood should be highly fruitful. In case to achieve a vibrant personality, the student can take the role model of Shri Hanuman Ji in their lives. They will be in a position to grow all their inner faculties (mind as well as physical body) to a higher dimension.

It is interesting to note that between the age period of twenty-one to twenty-eight years, the mind and intellect of the students (both) make the right adjustment in the brain to provide the best possible result. During this period, the intellect creates more avenues in the domain of interpersonal relations, better focusing on objects, places, and situations if any.

Simultaneously, the mind also becomes more imaginative to create new kinds of desire. But, the functional aspects of mind and intellect depend on our Prarabdha Karma (the imprints have to be experienced). That is why; two students of the same family have different mindsets even though they may have the same environmental and educational conditions. It is found that the inception of ideas in students depends on Prarabdha Karma and they are forced to act accordingly.

The research indicates that a normal man gets forty to sixty thousand ideas in a day; if they are not disciplined under the realm of Yoga or Vibrational aspects of Hanuman Chalisa. It should be noted that intellect (Buddhi) does not put any anchor on the generation of ideas in the mind.

At the age of between twenty-eight to thirty-five years, the expansion of the Ego (Ahamkara) takes place depending on the individual’s Prarabdha Karma. That is why; the students and youth should understand the happening scene in their mind, especially in the respective period of life journey.

3.3 The level of Mind during student life

There are four important achievements or assets to be inculcated during students’ life. They are namely i) Celibacy ii) Development of Mind (between seven to fourteen years of age) iii) Development of Intellect (between fourteen to twenty-one years of age) and iv) the methodology to achieve the reduction of lower brain wave frequency; because of which, the students can develop the wholeness in student life. These four assets of students are similar to the four Daivik Guna (Strength or Bala, Positive emotion or Klesh Vikar, Intellect or Viveka or Buddhi and Wisdom or Vidya) of Hanuman Chalisa. Hence the importance of assets in students’ life could be understood in the life of Shri Hanuman Ji.

It is important to point out that students and youth do not understand the hidden inner potential that exists within and they depend on fate; by which, they are not productive in their life. This also indicates that fate-dependent students and youth are hindrances to the growth of society. They are pseudo-intellectuals as they are virtually active and they do not care for the achievement of four Assets (Purushartha). The student having unbalanced quality (Tamsik Guna) does not learn to achieve the Purushartha (asset) of life. To get rid of this, the student should achieve the other two qualities like Rajo Guna (Quality of activity) and Sattva Guna (Balanced quality).

The verses of Hanuman Chalisa connect the different layers of the mind related to the vibration aspects of the verses. The analysis shows how the four divine qualities are parallel and similar to the four qualities developed in the life pattern of the student. In this way, we find that students become pray of mind unless they stay at a higher level of consciousness.

The four divine qualities of Hanuman Chalisa have been reflected at four stages (levels) of the mind in the diagram. These are the levels of mind generally grown in common human beings.

Most of us live our lives remaining under the grip of these three levels whether we are productive or non-productive. The hidden potential mind which remains in the depth of the brain can be explored. This phase of mind normally remains untapped by common people. If the higher level of mind is explored and inculcated, they will have a vibrant personality and they will be very useful to society. We can grow this kind of mind by reading, recitation, and meditating through Hanuman Chalisa.

This indicates that, if the student can understand the missing link between the normal mind and the untapped mind, they can work in this direction by taking the help of Hanuman Chalisa in a yogic way (adopting the Anuloma Viloma method for the Choupai).

3.4 How Hanuman Chalisa Minimizes the Generation Gap

The existence of Bala of Chalisa corresponds to Manipura Chakra. This is the first nucleus of the human body and the same could be developed in students’ life; which can be nurtured like the sapling of plants. By doing so, the tree (body) will have good Strength or Bala throughout the life journey of the plant. Students (by making good relations with family, friends, and relatives) can retain the concept of Swadharma; (the righteousness of beauty) which in turn, will help the student to understand the concept of his or her duty and also the rights of associates around them. For example, let us analyze the relationship between father and son. These days, it is found that the difference of opinion between father and son is growing more which is termed the generation gap. This (generation gap) happens because the son does not feel his duty to be extended to his father and he does not keep in mind the rights of his father. Similarly, vice versa is true for the father also. In case, both can understand and follow their duty to be extended to associates keeping in mind their rights; then, the generation gap will be minimized or eliminated. Hence Swadharma can be termed as an “Extension of own duty to fulfill the rights of associate”. This kind of Swadharma will eliminate or minimize the disparity among the people of the society also.

The principle (performing own duty to fulfill the rights of associates) is visible in the life of Shri Hanuman Ji. He was doing his duty to fulfill the rights of his parents; the rights of his friends like Sugriva & Vibhishana and also the rights of his master (Shri Rama). Shri Hanuman Ji was successful in all the activities; because, he kept his duty to be done to the associates (parents, Sugriva, Lakshmana, Vibhishana, and Shri Rama) for fulfilling their rights. This kind of relation (duty vs. rights) is very important to be inculcated in the student, youth, and the people of society. This is also important in the field of management, politics, trading, and the scientific arena for keeping good Inter-Personal Relations (IPR). This will transform the negative emotion (Kumati) into positive emotion (Sumati) in all areas.

The basis to achieve this kind of concept in life depends on inner positive strength (Bala). In case the Strength (Bala) is not used properly, this kind of concept (own duty for fulfilling the other’s or associate’s rights) cannot be fulfilled. The missing link between family members, people of the society, and the leaders of the country could be eliminated or minimized if the theme of Hanuman Chalisa is understood. The theme should be grown on “Own duty to be performed for associates rights”. The same should be inculcated in individual and social life as far as possible.

3.5 Main Benefits of Hanuman Chalisa for Students

The students get the benefit of Hanuman Chalisa as they follow celibacy. The physical health, the breathing system, and mental health are grown because of the growth of the Manipura chakra (center of Strength or Bala). The benefit of deep and sound sleep is also achieved by the students as they can easily get relaxed by reading Hanuman Chalisa. Through the development of the intellect, students can get a good grip on IQ (Intelligent Quotient) and can also develop EQ (Emotional Quotient); if they concentrate on the worth of Hanuman Chalisa along with their studies. The development of EQ will help them to have better interpersonal relationships with others throughout their life. In addition, they will have better growth of “Matri Devo Bhavah – Acharan Devo Bhavah”; which is the Vedic principle to achieve success in life.

4. YOUTH AND FOUR BOONS

4.0 The Youth

The personality of any youth depends on four factors namely i) Need base grip ii) Weak in decision iii) Ambitious and iv) Having a strong mind. The youth who is ambitious is categorized at a lower level than the youth having a strong personality. Being desired is a good sign in life. The young, who desires as well as ambitious (if he/she doesn’t deserve it), will have complexity in life. Sometimes, ambitious ones can get success but most of the time they may tumble down if their inner personality is not developed.

The youth hood starts at about twenty-eight years of age and grows up to sixty years. During this period, the ego of the inner instrument (Antahkarna) gets developed. Therefore they get influenced by their ego during this period. In addition, the Prarabhda karma (action to be enjoyed in this life) plays an important role along with the ego to shape their lives. In case by any method, the ego can be reduced or minimized during youth hood; then life will blossom. Normally it is difficult to achieve this kind of scenario (reduction of ego) in common youth. The Ego centered youth makes many mistakes and feels misery, failure, and boredom in life. In case the youth remain aimless, then they are under the grief of ego. The aim full life of youth can make use of the ego for the development of Purushartha (asset); which in turn, will add a vibrant personality among the young generation. The growth of Purushartha (Asset) can also be developed with the help of Hanuman Chalisa; where strength (Bala) is the first force carrier for evolution in divinity. The Purushartha (Asset) can be used for the fulfillment of basic needs (Bread, Butter, and clothes) in one hand, and at the same time, it can be used for evolving the inner potential. The young can correctly make use of the Purushartha if he/she can work like a master; certainly not like a slave.

The aimless youth is more ambitious compared to the aim full youth. This is because; aimless youth will not understand their inner capability or strength to act in their respective field of work. They do not have the idea, inner courage, confidence, and imaginative ability. They will fluctuate in taking decisions as their intellect is not fully grown to the extent possible.

4.1 Hanuman Chalisa and Youth

The recitation of Hanuman Chalisa along with inhalation and exhalation will help them to understand their capability or their limitation. In this way, the youth can minimize or reduce their ambitious nature. In case ambition and ego have positive growth, then the intellect of the youth will blossom. In addition, aimless youth does not understand the duty and rights of their associates. Because of this, there will be great discrepancies or gaps between the relation, education, wealth, and culture. This kind of scenario provides the signal for the generation gap.

Yoga provides the easiest method to purify the mind-stuff (Chitta); so that, any fluctuation (Vritti) in the mind stuff does not exist. This means that there would be no previous imprints in the mind stuff. The recitation of Hanuman Chalisa eliminates or minimizes the previous imprints (Sanchit Karma) progressively. The verse (Choupai) of Hanuman Chalisa and the work carried out by Sri Hanuman Ji (both) are remembered at the time of recitation; then, the positive energy will grow and the same will eliminate the old imprints. In case the Klesh Vikar (negative emotion) exists at Anahata chakra is purified or corrected; then, the inner strength (Bala) works like fire (Gyan Agni), and the same burn out all the previous imprints.

Analysis shows how the verses (Choupai) of Hanuman Chalisa are related to the personality development of the youth. The young generations can be firm on their aim without having an ambitious trace, they will progress a lot. For this, they should pay attention to certain verses of Hanuman Chalisa.

The image indicates that the personality could easily be developed if the youth could minimize the basic daily needs in life. In addition, the weakness of the mind due to Klesh vikar should not creep in any form. An ambitious nature should not be the basis while developing a personality. Youth must practice bringing or collecting positive mental ideas or thoughts and they should try to inculcate them in their life streams. The image “The Influence of HC on the Development of Personality” also explains how Hanuman Chalisa is helping hand in developing the personality of the youth.

4.2 The Need for Hanuman Chalisa for Youth

The image “Hanuman Chalisa for youth” shows how divine qualities like strength (Bala), positive emotion (Klesh Vikar), intellect or Viveka (Buddhi), and wisdom (Vidya) are related to certain verses (Choupai) of Hanuman Chalisa. The verses reflect on “SWAN” (strong, weak, ambitious, and need-based) types of personality; which are part of the youth’s life. The image describes how youth can move on the ladder from a lower type of personality to a higher one.

This means that how the youth can develop his/her inner divine potential; so that, purification, energization, and transformation of all weak points could be uplifted and retained at a higher level of consciousness. If one is a weak or ambitious type of personality, he/she can get a drastic transformation with the help of yogic practice.

Hanuman Chalisa is a good source or methodology to transform the personality at a young age. The image explains how Chalisa could be utilized in the day-to-day curriculum. It is observed that the existence of negative emotions (Klesh Vikar) among youth is the greatest hurdle for their personality development; hence the same should be removed as early as possible to sustain positive emotions for further development in the personality. The positive emotions in three qualities (Guna) of nature are generally weak in youth.

4.3 How youth can get rid of negative emotions (Klesh Vikar)?

The Choupai or verses connected with 11-20 (eleven to twenty) explores the methodology to remove or minimize the negative emotion or Klesh Vikar. This is possible only when the youth can adopt the principle of “Non-doer ship” while in action as Sri Hanuman Ji has done for bringing the Sanjeevini butti to save the life of Sri Lakshmana. He brought the medicine (Sanjeevini butti) without having a sense of doer ship (Karta Bhava). A young should remember that whenever he/she does any work without a sense of doer ship, he/she deserves great praise (applause in the form of reward) in the future. That is why; Sri Hanuman Ji got praise from Lord Rama at the same time Sri Hanuman Ji was embraced by lord Rama. Sri Hanuman Ji got great applause not only from Sri Rama but also from many other Devas of the cosmos. This is a very important point for the youth to keep in mind that any efforts or work done selflessly (for others) without having any expectation of the fruits will certainly yield a sense of Non-doer ship. Another example of a non-doer ship in Shri Hanuman can be remembered by his act of arrangement of a meeting between Lord Rama and Sugriva. At that moment, he was acting selflessly and without any hope for the fruits. The youth should also remember that they should work like a master, taking complete responsibility for the assignment and having the feeling of “Work is worship”.

The third example of the non-doer ship act of Sri Hanuman Ji is reflected in the confidential talk he had with Sri Vibishan in Lanka. Because of that, Sri Vibishan could be made king of Lanka after the demise of Ravana. Sri Hanuman Ji did the work for Vibishan and he never expected any returns from him. This technique (the act of non-doer ship) is the best possible methodology for the removal of negative emotion (Klesh Vikar) which otherwise will be a great hurdle for the youth and also for human civilization. The fourth example of the non-doer ship of Sri Hanuman Ji is carrying the ring (Mudrika) given by Lord Rama and very secretly he delivered the same to Mata Janaki despite facing many great hurdles in between. That is why; Sri Hanuman Ji was free from Klesh Vikar and Sri Tulsi Das ji prayed to him (Sri Hanuman Ji) to take out the Klesh Vikar from him.

4.4 How youth can develop the intellect?

Sri Hanuman Ji works like a shield (protection) for an individual. This is because; Shri Hanuman Ji is a very powerful Tattva or element in physical loka, cosmic loka, and also in spiritual loka. Hence one should not get afraid of any kind of physical, biological, or mental sentiment imposed by associates. The question arises that how to get this kind of shielding. One way is to get through Hanuman Chalisa; where we have to generate the Udana prana (Electro Magnetic force) through Pranayama. This helps us to transform the internal sentiment (physical, biological, cellular, mental) at a higher level step by step, and in that way, youth can develop a vibrant personality against any kind of atmosphere impact. This (Udana prana) also helps to strengthen the central nervous system of the youth. To get rid of all troublesome situations; the youth has to meditate on Shri Hanuman Ji by taking their 3H at a higher level of chakra. Udana prana (generates at Agna chakra and below) develops the intuitive and creative ability of the youth; which in turn, can evolve the inner hidden potential of youth in the long run.

4.4.1 The Relation between Intellect and Power (Prana)

In case there is a misuse of energy or power, we become weak in every field. Hence Youth should know how to eliminate or minimize the misuse of energy. This is because; all the five systems of the body (circulatory, respiratory, digestive, execratory, and central nervous system) need the power to work healthily. The analysis describes how these pranas can effectively be utilized.

For example, it is shown how each prana is related to the five systems of the body and how the prana keeps them hail and healthy. Among them, Apana prana, which is used to take out the waist of the body in the form of liquid and solid, and the same (Apana prana), is called the excretory system in Science. However, this Apana prana is quite strong to drag the upper prana (Samana prana) because of this the digestive system becomes weak. In addition, the Apana prana also drags the Vyana prana or the main prana and makes them weak. Vyana prana works at Vishuddhi chakra where the thyroid gland exists. Likewise, Udana prana (EMF in science) is responsible for the central nervous system. Youth must remember that the generation of Udana prana and its utilization will blossom their personality in every field of work. The analysis shows that if every prana is strong enough and works properly, youth will be more intellectual and can make use of their intellect in a creative way. To make prana weak, negative emotion (Klesh Vikar or negative sentiment) plays a great impact. Hence they (Agna and Vishudhi chakra) are closely interlinked for the growth of personality. Therefore, youth must be alert to develop these chakras to have an enjoyable time in their career.

4.5 How youth should make use of prana (Energy)?

In the rat race, the young generation is losing the perfect career track because of the ambitious and weak personality inculcated within. This is because; the energy or power is not properly evolved; which is the basis for achieving the aim of life. Sri Tulsi Das ji states that one should use the power or energy i) While interacting with likeminded or elderly people in a disciplined way ii) Whenever youth faces a difficult or complex situation and iii) While interacting with the enemy or with people having a strong difference of opinion. In case to have more clarification, let us take the example of Sri Hanuman Ji while he was interacting with associates of different natures or in complex situations. For example, Sri Hanuman Ji has taken the smallest size (Rupa) while meeting Mata Janaki; which shows his disciplined way of utilizing energy or power. But he has taken the stranger (complex) rupa or size while burning the Lanka. Similarly, he made his body in complex and large form (Bheema rupa) while killing the Asura (enemy). This means that the same energy or power could be having different content of networking (Energy) and trafficking (space) for different natures of work. Sri Hanuman Ji has utilized three kinds of power in a small period for different purposes as the situation aroused. In case having this kind of proper technique, one should develop i) Iksha Shakti (the power of desire) ii) Kriya Shakti (the power of action), and iii) Gyana Shakti (the power of knowledge). Having this technique, the youth can make use of “time and mind management” very effectively in all fields. For this, the youth should take the help of “Bhakti yoga”, “Gyana yoga”, “Karma yoga” and “Raja yoga”.

In case the youth is having adequate strength (Bala), he/she can get a better arrangement of Bread, Butter, Clothing, and shelter. This power can be achieved at Manipur (navel center). This can also be achieved if the youth has got good relations with family, friends, relatives, and elderly people. For this (energy or strength), tension (Tanav) is a great hurdle. That is why; youth should keep themselves free from any kind of tension.

4.6 Youth of all levels are gripped with tension

In this so-called materialistic world, there is a Rat-race among every individual to be in the Limelight or on the frontline. Because of this, tension is bound to creep into the youth as they are the participants of the Rat- race. The father of modern psychology Dr. Sigmund Freud mentioned in his manuscript that whenever there is growth in science and technology, by which productivity will be enormous, there is bound to be a competitive life which will ensure the tremendous development of stress and strain (tension) among the people. His statement seems to be true in the 20th as well as the 21st century. However, modern psychologists are trying to minimize any kind of tension; but they are still far behind to control the same during the developed environment of Science and technology. It is interesting to note that Rishi Patanjali has given a good technique to minimize or eliminate tension with the help of Ashtanga Yoga. The world has not yet seen a more talented or able psychologist like Rishi Patanjali; who is well known as the world’s first psychologist.

Modern Medical Science provides a simple way to lie down on a bed for minimizing the tension. The same technique was experimented with in the laboratory of Yoga; where it was observed that around 20% of tension will remain even after prolonged rest on the bed. Likewise, relaxing on the easy chair will leave about one-third of the total tension. it is interesting to note that while relaxing on the easy chair, the spinal cord is bent (not kept in a straight line); because of this leftover tension remains higher in comparison with simply lying down on the bed. The question arises that even after relaxation on the bed or easy chair, why a certain amount of tension remains as a residue? The answer is simple. Normally, medical science takes the whole body for relaxation. One way is good but medical science does not pay attention to the knots of the tension that exists in the body. Yoga works on the knots of the tension that exists whether in the spinal cord or the rest of the muscles. By pinpointing the knots, Yoga provides the mental smoothening relaxation technique in the form of the Instant Relaxation technique (IRT), Quick Relaxation Technique (QRT), and Deep relaxation Technique (DRT). The decision for IRT, QRT, and DRT depends on the type and location of tension in the body which is normally observed as four types. They are namely i) Muscle Tension exists in the muscular portion ii) Emotional Tension exists in the central part of the body mainly centralized at the Heart center iii) Mental Tension which exists above the throat center and works in the head region iv) Tension due to social and environmental impact (Samvednatmak Tanav). They exist in the lower middle class, upper middle class, and higher class people. The tension is created in our five systems of the body; which are the Digestive, circulatory, respiratory, & excretory, and central nervous systems. The knots of the tension are due to interaction among people, objects, places, and situations.

Now, Let us try to understand How to remove or minimize the tension from five systems. In case our lifestyle is a righteous way, then there will be bare minimum tension. But in a competitive life, Youth will retain some tension in the mind (somehow or other) because of disturbance in the family, pressure in the field of work, and also a mismatch of thought processes with relatives and friends. All these backgrounds make the mind of the Youth very turbulent. Hence five systems of the body are getting disturbed. This way, there are “tension knots” built into every system of the body. The tension knot can be broken or eliminated utilizing our breathing exercises taught in Yoga. It is observed by everyone that during tension the breathing rate (Breath in and Breath out) will be interrupted and health hazard occurs due to the tension knot. Yoga suggests that to adopt a slow and deep breathing process (Breathe in and breathe out) correctly the knots of the tension lose their bound utilizing IRT, QRT, and DRT. In this way, muscle tension is eliminated or prevented.

During abrupt changes in breathing, the respiratory system is unable to fill the lungs with an adequate amount of Oxygen; because of this, emotional tension is built in. By practicing breathing techniques or Anuloma and Viloma Pranayama, this kind of tension can easily be minimized or eliminated. It is observed that mishaps among family members create a painful situation and create a very bad impact of deep impression in the mind of the youth. The impact of this kind of mental tension can be minimized banking upon the religious concept as well as deep breathing technique, till the impact of deep mental tension is reduced. In addition, mental tension erupts in the youth because of fear of losing the job or not facing the situation in the right way, having anxiety about petty things, getting angry frequently, and developing negative thinking. This kind of tension is observed more in the higher middle class and upper level of society. To eliminate the damage of this kind of tension, yoga provides a way; which is well known in the form of “meditation”. It (meditation) is a process that teaches us to have good control over the functional aspects of the brain or mind. In this way, social and environmental impact (Samvednatmak Tanav) can be overcome.

The people in the Upper middle class and higher class mostly dwell under Profit and loss, respect and insult, birth and death, victory and defeat, & name and defame; which (these factors) are the main contributors to their tension. This kind of tension finally leads to depression (complete loss of control over the mind). Analysis shows that a very high level of society is prey for this kind of depression. But they forget that the above dual conditions are not in our hands but in the hands of a superpower called the Absolute (God). However, we are not clear about the Absolute (god); but we do have Hanuman Chalisa in our hands. If anyone studies, practices, and meditates on the verse of Hanuman Chalisa; he or she will be in a position not to dwell upon the root cause of depression.

4.6.1 Loss Due to Tension

In case the youth are in tension for a longer time, the nerves connecting different parts of the brain get tightened. At that moment, the nodal points of the brain which are responsible to release the brain neurons get defective. Because of this, the chemical secretion required in the brain for a normal life or even spiritual life gets interrupted. The chemical secretion is necessary for regulating the Prana (energy) in one hand and providing the proper dimension (space) for the energy in the other hand; which are essential for leading vibrant or spiritual life. We must understand that the absolute (God) is very kind to us by providing the brain neurons (effective media) which are in large numbers (as large as the number of stars existing in the universe). The same (brain neurons) if kept healthy and effective; then, the mental function of the youth can be made very effective in the materialistic life as well as in the yogic life. To make the brain neurons very effective, fortunately, meditation is the tool. Those who are not well versed in the concept of meditation can concentrate and contemplate on any form of Hanuman Ji along with slow and deep breathing. This kind of practice in Hanuman Ji will make the brain neurons effective to release the required chemicals while we are in a materialistic world or spiritual world.

4.7 How Hanuman Chalisa provides freedom from Tension?

Hanuman Chalisa works as an instrument for the analysis and control of the mind. The mind gets filled with duality (Dwand), complexity (Kunthaye), Problems (Pareshaniya), Desires (Vasanaye), anxiety (Chintaye), and conditional love (Sartiya Prem); which makes the youth to get diversified and disturbed in day-to-day activity. The distorted mind of the youth takes away a lot of internal energy without contributing to any successful plan or work of the youth. However, the same (thoughts or feelings) should not be suppressed; but, they should be purified and channelized.

In the case of suppression of thoughts or ideas among the youth due to personal, family, and social rules and conditions; they are unable to express the hidden factors happening in day-to-day life and these hidden factors get suppressed. This, in turn, results in suppressed imprints of tension. This leads to a disturbance in the flow of required mental energy. In case the suppressed factors are vented out or released by any means, there will be a great relief in the mind. In this way, the mental energy flows smoothly for creative works. In case the Youth can use relieving techniques, then they will be quite vibrant and creative in society. In this way, youth can become milestones for themselves, society, and their country. Among other means, the meditation on Hanuman Ji (in duality) can be a good technique for making the brain or the mind free from tension; so that, the utility of mental energy can be taken up for constructive work. This (Mental energy) otherwise gets wasted.

Generally, there are many means to minimize or reduce mental tension and they are namely i) Mingling with religious people (Sat sang) ii) Prayers and Chanting (Bhajan and Kirtan), and iii) Deep prayer and contemplation (Stuti) on God. It is noted that Hanuman Chalisa is memorized and known by heart by most of the youth in India, and the same can be the easiest means to minimize or reduce tension. For this, The Youth has to remember the full verse (Choupai) of Hanuman Chalisa and they (verses) can be taken attentively as if the youth is witnessing the meaning and visualizing the functional aspects of the verse. The “witnessing of the meaning” will keep the mind (space) of the youth in the present moment in the verse (Choupai); whereas, visualization will retain the energy (prana) of the youth in the verse. In this process, the energy (networking) and space (trafficking) are kept together. The Achievement of this approach will generate the highest force known as Udana Prana (Electro Magnetic Force in science).

Any work carried out in Udana Prana (EMF in Science) will have to be creative and very fruitful for the youth and also for society. This way, youth can become role models for bringing up the society of any country by utilizing Hanuman Chalisa or Hanuman Ji as a means. Any verse (Choupai) of Hanuman Chalisa can also be used for getting relief from tension provided the same is witnessed and visualized properly.

4.8 Advantages of Hanuman Chalisa for Youth

The human body has five sheaths (Koshas) and they are namely i) physical (Annamaya) ii) bioplasmic (Pranmaya) iii) mental(Manomaya) iv) intellectual(Vigyanmaya) and v)bliss sheath(Anandmaya). The inception of the five sheaths and their interdependency is well explained in the second part of Taitriya Upanishad, which is known as “Brahmananda Vali”. This part states what ingredients exist in each sheath and their related function. For example, the human body has five parts namely i) the Head or Brain ii) the Spinal Cord iii) the Right side of the body iv) the Left side of the body, and v) the bottom of the body (below waist) on which the body can be kept in standing position. In these five parts of the body, five forces are namely i) Prana (equivalent to Photon in science) ii) Apana Prana (equivalent to Gravitational force in science) iii) Samana Prana (equivalent to Strong nuclear force in science) iv) Vyana Prana (equivalent to Weak nuclear force in science) v) Udana Prana (equivalent to Electromagnetic force in science) remains in function. They (each kind of prana) are adequate in their respective parts of the body; so that, the whole body remains in vibrant condition. This kind of phenomena also exists in the universe.

The concept of five sheaths resembles the five major glands of the human body and brain. For example, Manipura Chakra denotes the existence of Annamaya Kosha (food sheath); Anahata Chakra signifies the nearness of Pranamaya Kosha (Vital Sheath); Vishuddi Chakra or Throat center indicates the presence of Manomaya Kosha (Mental Sheath); Agna Chakra (center between two eyebrows) resembles Vigyanmaya Kosha (Intellect Sheath) and vicinity of pineal gland denotes the Anandmaya Kosha ( Bliss Sheath). The progressive evolution of youth depends on how far they (youth) have purified these Koshas (Sheaths). The purity and energization of each sheath will add confidence, courage, and creativity to the youth’s mind. This can be achieved with the help of the yogic process and also by utilizing Hanuman Chalisa as suggested.

It is observed that by reciting Hanuman Chalisa in a slow and dedicated manner and also by concentration and contemplation on Hanuman Ji; these five sheaths are getting evolved. The development of physical sheath (Annamaya Kosha) will establish a hale and healthy body free from illness. The youth will have strong digestive, excretory, respiratory, circulatory, and central nervous systems.

The evolution of the bioplasmic sheath (Pranmaya Kosha) will minimize the negative emotion of the youth which is otherwise the energy drainer. Similarly, if a mental sheath (Manomaya Kosha) is developed, the youth will possess a very sound and effective mind and he or she will be free from psycho disease (psychological illness). Likewise, the development of an intellectual sheath (Vigyanmaya Kosha) will add creative power to the youth for the discovery in the field of research and development with clarity in hypothesis and experimental results.

In the context of Anandmaya Kosha (bliss sheath), the youth will be more powerful and reflect the vibrant personality in society. The vibrant youth will be the means for a healthy and prosperous society and also for the development of the country.

5. SENIOR CITIZEN AND FOUR BOONS

5.0 Activity of Senior Citizens

It is observed that people are called senior citizens after achieving sixty years of age. After this age, normally they do not participate in professional work actively. However, many of them are very active in politics as well as in social service; but, they are self-centered. Few among them are spiritually oriented and they go for social service without expecting any returns from the society. Those who are not spiritually oriented can make use of Hanuman Chalisa to uplift their divine quality (Daivik Guna); so that, they can make use of the rest of time effectively. By doing so, there will be positive upliftment in the society and they can also evolve in their spiritual life.

5.1 Divine thinking

In this connection, there are three main messages from Veda and they are namely i) Neti – Neti (Not that is finally what we think) ii) Chare Veti – Chare Veti (Move forward), and iii) Unvarat Chintan (contemplation on divine fact). This kind of instruction helps senior citizens not to get obstructed on the line of divine contemplation (Chintan). Veda provides this instruction as we do not have growth of two lobes (right lobe and left lobe) in the exact equilibrium sense. The growth of two lobes (hemispheres of the brain) is possible, when we follow the instruction of Veda. The word Neti-Neti makes us expand our thinking ability in the mind-stuff (Chitta) zone without taking any conclusion. Similarly, the ChareVeti-ChareVeti word leads us to enlarge our vision of intellect by which artificial intelligence can be explored to its brim. Likewise, not to get stagnated in any thinking; then, senior citizens can dive deep into the inner core. The message of Veda certainly helps us to explore the divine quality within every individual; so that, few among us can understand the “Reality or Truth” which is “Sat”, “Chit” and “Ananda Swaroopa” (form). The devotees state that Hari or Truth or Reality is infinite and eternal.

Mind is the factor that limits the contemplating approach of the individual. The same (mind) stops the expansion of positive aspects of emotion below the surface of the lobes (brain lobes). By following the statement of Veda, one can understand the limiting signal of the mind easily. In this way, exploring aspects of the mind from the negative emotional impact of the brain can be minimized or erased by activating brain neurons. Mind completely depends on senses (Indriyas) and experiences the objects which are very fond of senses (Indriyas). The same in turn, limits the expansion property of the mind. To remove the limitation, Veda advises us to move forward (Chare Veti – Chare Veti) and also not to get stagnated till we reach the goal. In this way, the senior citizen can explore the hidden divine energy and the same can be used for developing the society at large.

5.2 The Need for Divine Quality for Senior Citizens

Before being senior citizens, they are very active in professional work which depends on their Rajo Guna (the quality needed for active participation). Once they are partly or fully away from professional work, they are supposed to have Satvik Guna (transparent quality) which will make them have a quiet and calm life in rest of the time without getting self-disturbed as well as without being the source of disturbance for fellow beings. We know that there are three stages of mind (manas) and they are namely i) Chetan (active and awakened mind) ii) Avchetan (dream state of mind) and iii) Achetan (deep sleep state of mind). They are similar to the state of mind observed by the psychologist. They are all related to the five Sheaths (Panchakosha) of the human body. Generally, Chetan manas (mind) is associated with a physical sheath (Annamaya Kosha) and a bioplasmic sheath (Pranayama Kosha). Likewise, Avchetan manas (mind) is linked with mental sheath (Manomaya Kosha) and intellectual sheath (Vigyanmaya Kosha). However, Achetan Manas (mind) appears in a bliss sheath (Anandmaya Kosha).

In this connection, the awakened mind is under the grip of Rajo Guna (distorted mind); whereas, Avchetan manas (associated with Rajo and Tamo Guna) brings down the frequency of the mind. At this condition, the efficiency to grasp the subtle aspects of nature (Prakriti) can be explored.

Likewise, Achetan Manas (from turbid to transparent mind) are essential for Yogi and also for the development of divine quality. The Achetan Manas (unconscious mind) has to be transcendental by yogi to experience the higher stages of consciousness. The same can be obtained through yoga, meditation, and tapas.

The image explains the level of mind under three Guna (quality) which is self-explanatory. The senior citizen should try to obtain the transparent mind (Achetan manas) during the awakened state so that the efficiency of mind in Avchetan manas (dream state) and distorted level of mind (awakened state) can be very effective while exploring the divine quality hidden within.

To obtain the transparent quality (Satto Guna), senior citizens can make use of the recitation of Hanuman Chalisa along with breath (inhalation and exhalation) to establish this quality. However, the Klesh Vikar (Malnutrition of mind and negative emotion) can become an obstruction for senior citizens; which can also be tackled with the help of reciting Hanuman Chalisa systematically.

5.3 To understanding the “Klesh Vikar”

There is one higher center for Prana (Cosmic Urja or Energy) which can be used effectively for minimizing or eliminating the Klesh vikar and also for keeping the healthiness of biological systems. In this connection, the Klesh Vikar exists at Anahata Chakra or Heart Centre. In case Klesh Vikar (malnutrition of mind and negative emotion) is heavy or quite intensified, the prana (cosmic energy) will be disturbed. Unless, Klesh Vikar or malnutrition of mind is minimum; the maximum utilization of cosmic energy (prana) cannot be obtained. To eliminate malnutrition of mind (Klesh Vikar), the character of Shri Rama has to be followed. From Ramayana, it is a well-known fact that Shri Rama has gone to the forest twice in his lifetime; first along with the Rishi Vishwa Mitra and second time just before he was supposed to become the King of Ayodhya. Along with Rishi Vishwa Mitra, Shri Rama learned all kinds of Science related to weapon action and the methods to win the battle against evil. The Second time, he was in the forest for 14 years to fulfill the wishes of his parents. The scenario exhibits that Shri Rama has spent the maximum time of his youth hood in the forest along with the natural scenario. This also reveals that to develop positive energy in a lifetime, we need natural surrounding and positive thinking as far as possible. This does not mean that we have to live in the forest for achieving physical strength and energy. The analysis indicates that we must live in a clean and natural atmosphere as far as possible. This is because; most of us live in the age of the Rat race (cutthroat competition). To overcome the drawbacks of a rat race, we must live in a clean atmosphere with minimum tension.

It is interesting to note that a natural way of breathing (which signifies a natural and healthy life) can be achieved while reciting Shri Hanuman Chalisa. By doing so, the Hanuman Chalisa verses can be read in a singing tone so that our mind is kept aware along with the inhalation and exhalation of breath while reciting. In this scenario, reciting of Hanuman Chalisa will be carried out in a yogic way. In case the senior citizens do not have much time, then they can spare minimum time to recite and meditate on Hanuman Chalisa so that positive energy within the human body can be rejuvenated.

5.4 Knowledge is the means to remove Klesh Vikar (Malnutrition)

The root of Klesh Vikar contains hard imprints of objects (vishaya) or Tanmatra. Unless they are removed with the help of knowledge or introspection; otherwise, they will persist all the time and the same will linger in the mind. The easiest way the removal of Klesh Vikar is to visualize the imprints through meditation regularly and not to have the repetition the same by holding strong Sankalpa (firm determination).

This can also be achieved by visualizing most of the evils and negative imprints in the mirror of the heart. For this, we must remember the qualities of Shri Hanuman Ji or Shri Rama in our minds. Normally, the inner instrument (Antahkarna) dwells on worldly problems. If we can replace worldly problems with the qualities of Shri Hanuman Ji or Shri Rama, then the intensity of worldly problems will be minimized or eliminated. This is because; the mind needs the liking scenario in the domain of Chitta. In this case, the same (Chitta or mind) should be filled with quality or Guna of Shri Rama or Shri Hanuman Ji. In this way, the mind will try to fix the Guna or quality of Shri Rama or Shri Hanuman Ji without dwelling here and there. Generally, we spend most of the time dwelling in the grip of malnutrition of mind (Klesh vikar); but, we can be free from this provided we have faith related to the divine quality of Shri Hanuman Ji and Shri Rama. The development of our mind into Chitta (mind stuff) will also help to get rid of malnutrition of the mind or Klesh vikar. Klesh Vikar can be minimized with the help of the Deep Relaxation Technique (DRT) if the same is carried out systematically.

5.5 The Need for Assets (Purushartha) for Senior Citizens

The development of four limbs of Purushartha (Asset) are namely i) Kama (Desire) ii) Aratha (Financial Means) iii) Dharma (Duty and responsibility for society) and iv) Moksha (Freedom from knots or life and death). Normally, each one of us is trying to grow in most of the segments during youth hood; but, because of the busy schedule, one does not get fruitful success. The senior citizen, who lags in one or many limbs of Purushartha, tries to grow the same with the help of developing divine quality.

Being young, one pays attention to the desire for life and also how to grow the financial means to fulfill the desire. However, the duty and responsibility for society lag along with freedom of all the knots. Both are rarely attempted during youthhood. If the remaining two are developed by the senior citizen, he or she will feel satisfaction in the life and the society can also reap the fruits of Purushartha (Asset) developed by the senior citizen.

The image briefly describes “How Purushartha (Asset) is important in day-to-day life?” The Asset or Purushartha works like a strong means of living for self and the same is effective like a backbone (spinal cord). In this way, an Asset (Purushartha) seems to be very essential for a healthy life.

The person who doesn’t understand the importance of Purushartha or lags behind the satisfactory and fruitful aspects of life; then, the thought (thinking) cycle for the rich in Purushartha gets minimized; say about three to four thousand thinking cycles of events per day. In case, the thinking cycle may exist in between thirty to forty thousand cycle events per day; which shows the lagging scenario in the development of Purushartha. Scientifically, it is measured that those who have about forty thousand cycles of thinking events per day or more, lose maximum energy without any productive work.

In case the energy is conserved (utilizing Purushartha or any other means); the same (energy) can be used for creative and productive work for the self and society. Senior citizens can minimize the loss of day-to-day energy effectively by understanding and reciting Hanuman Chalisa. The Channelling of energy is an important factor for carrying out day-to-day family activities as well as activities connected to the field of work; otherwise, there will be scenarios related to failures in life.

5.6 Senior Citizens and Hanuman Chalisa

Senior citizens should observe certain means and they are namely i) to keep their minds stable ii) reduction in selfish attitudes iii) increase in selfless Activity and iv) lead towards the spiritual domain.

The research indicates that a change in the mental behavioural pattern of senior citizens can be obtained by a) Purushartha b) an increase in inner divine quality c) developing mental ability d) exploring intellectual ability. This indicates that senior citizens keep on developing the divine quality till the last breath exists.

The divine quality can be explored within the inner personality of senior citizens. By developing the divine quality, the senior citizens can narrow down the gap in missing link that exists in the “generation gap”.

5.7 Benefits of Hanuman Chalisa for Senior Citizens

During old age, the digestive system becomes weak. At that time, the food intake and the medicine are not easily getting digested. This happens because the effect of the inner sun or Manipura chakra becomes very weak due to a loss of physical strength. The strength can be regained by uplifting the energy from the Lower chakra (Swadhisthana chakra). The gravitational force (Apana Prana) works at “Swadhisthana Chakra” and the same pulls down the digestive energy. By reciting the verse of Hanuman Chalisa, the Samana prana (strong nuclear force required for the digestive system) is getting strengthened and the same gets improved by uplifting the Apana Prana. In this way, there is a great advantage to the senior citizen for easily digesting the normal day-to-day food and medicines to keep good health.

6. TRADER AND FOUR BOONS

6.0 Introduction

Generally, we worship god to get the fulfillment of expectations or to remove fear from the mind and also for achieving certain desires. Our prayer to god is similar to the action carried out by a child in front of his father. If a child comes and asks with his fear; he or she might not get the demand fulfilled. But if a child comes and asks his or her father lovingly, he or she certainly going to get the demand fulfilled. Hence our prayer for any demand to god can be fruitful provided we pray to Him lovingly (certainly not with fear). It is interesting to note that unconditional love for god can yield the result of whatever we deserve. This is because we become very pure with mind and heart together. To withdraw the mind from being an extrovert, there are many means and one among them is visible during “Aarthi time”. The sound of crunch (shank) and bell (ghanti) are the means to keep the mind of the devotee at the present movement. Yoga provides the other means to hold the mind to remain in concentration with the help of Pranayama and meditation.

Devotees in the temple yet get the good smell of flowers and other means of worship. At the same time, they try to gather the mirror view of an idol in the mind. These steps work like a magnet for the mind to concentrate on the scenario of the worship. The total vibration in the domain of the temple keeps the mind of the devotee in the present condition. The worship of Sri Hanuman Ji in a temple will bring a similar kind of subtle vibration in the mind of the devotee. In that way, he or she will be in the present movement by withdrawing the mind from past or future scenarios. Remaining in the present movement (time) leads to the expansion of the mind toward a positive and righteous direction. This is also known as being a Dharmist.

6.1 What is Dharma?

Dharma is defined as a tendency or inner nature of a person, where the mind is above the name and fame, respect and disrespect, gain or loss of day-to-day scenario, and the same (mind) keeps us in the present movement without fluctuating past and future direction. This (dharma) leads us to understand the duty and responsibility of the associates in the righteous direction. When a person falls into dharma (dutifulness), he or she will work in an unrighteous direction. It is worthwhile to note that the divine quality of a person will reinforce the dharma of the person.

The institutions which uplift our mental status above the selfish level and expand the selfless action of the mind in a proper direction; then the same are known as Dharmik Sanstha. In our mind, there is a strong fence of righteousness that stops the fall of the mind below a certain level of unrighteous thinking and this kind of fencing in the mind keeps us in Dharmik (righteous thinking) way.

Yam (Don’t) and Neyam (Does) are two limbs of Aastang Yoga for maintaining Dharma. When there is a fall in Dharma, there will be a fall in the faith (Bhagya). For example, the item obtained from unrighteous means like stolen, snatched, bribed, and forcibly taken items leads us to become the prey of Adharma (an unrighteous way of functioning). The same is the root cause of the debacle in the journey of life.

To get rid of being unrighteous quality, the trader must follow the divine qualities narrated in the prayer of Hanuman Chalisa. This is because; traders are the means to communicate the process of life among the different segments of society. If the trader segment is not hail and healthy, the growth of other segments of society will be disturbed and the complete society will remain in fragile condition. The four divine qualities of Chalisa namely i) Bala (Strength) ii) Klesh vikar (Malnutrition of mind) iii) Buddhi (intellect) and iv) Vidya (Knowledge) can help the trader to uplift the hidden personality within themselves.

The trader (vyapari) should follow certain codes and conducts (acharan) in respect of their behavioral pattern while dealing with the customer along with moral values (Naithik Mulya) in a certain frame of law (niyam). These values (code and conducts, moral value & frame of law) depend on the four positive knots yet to develop in the trader’s personality. In this connection, the trader has four major positive knots within hidden personality namely i) Honesty (Imandari) ii) Integrity (Purnata )iii) Transparency(Pardarshita )iv) Accountability(Lekha-Jokha) and the same can be the strength for traders with the help of four divine qualities given in Hanuman Chalisa.

6.1.1 Utility of Traders Minds in four domains

The image shows the relation of mental state with a chakra (center) of the body. In the diagram, it is made clear how the mind at the lower level exists as animal instinct, emotion with the urge, and rational thinking; and how the same can be raised to become courageous, confident, creative, and intuitive level.

To understand this, let us take the state of mind along with five sheaths (Panch kosha) and also with awakened (Jagrat), dream state (Swapna), and deep sleep state (Sushupti) of day-to-day life.

In this case, it is clear how the mind takes shelter in five sheaths and three states of daily life. For example, whenever we are among family members, the level of mind dwells in the social scene. At the time of workplace, the mind gets concentrated and becomes confident, courageous, and creative level. In case we are along with friends, the mind gets relaxed and maintains the scenario of pain and pleasure. All these patterns indicate that we need a different state of mind for many kinds of work. All these happen in the physical sheath (Annamaya Kosha), bioplasmic sheath (Pranayama Kosha), and mental sheath (Manomaya Kosha). However, for the development of the inner self, one should keep the mental level in the Intellectual sheath (Vigyanmaya Kosha) and Bliss sheath (Anandmaya Kosha).

Now the question arises “whether spirituality is essential for uplifting the inner quality of the mind in the form of divinity?” “Is it essential to follow the divinity all along the life or not?” and “whether one will have a downfall by not adopting spirituality in day-to-day life?” The experience indicates that one can lead a prosperous life without adopting spirituality provided he or she has favorable Prarabdha karma (fruit of action to be enjoyed). Similarly, it is also observed that the trader community can make themselves and also society prosperous without adopting spirituality in life. But experiences confirm that if the trader is religious or leaning towards spirituality, he/she will be more healthy, wealthy, and prosperous in life. This is because; the trader will take the initiative and creative action before completion of the job; otherwise, there will be a fall in their business.

6.2 Reason for the fall of the business

The mind works in a cyclic form. This can be understood with the help of running a cycle. For example, running of cycle resembles with the running of mind. To keep the cycle in stable condition we use the paddle to provide the energy for stable running of the cycle. But after a certain time, we stop the paddle and the cycle runs automatically. Similar is the case for the mind to work as a cycle. Initially, we have to provide adequate energy (like the paddle of the cycle) and after the stability, the positive working condition of the mind will be stable. If the negative condition like adopting breaks in the cycle or having a rough road is not applied; then, the cycle will run smoothly for a long time. Similar is the case with creative minds. If a negative attitude or malnutrition of the mind is kept absent, the creative mind will be more productive for a long time. The reason for the fall of business can be extrapolated from the above example. The same indicates that purity of mind is very essential for the trader without having any if and but inside the mind. The same can be achieved by developing the divine quality; otherwise, the trader (or even the society) will be in the grip of sadness.

6.2.1 Why are we so sad?

It is observed that most of us are sad in the universe. This is because; most of us are lagging with the physical, bioplasmic, mental, and spiritual energy. By visualizing this, Lord Buddha says we all are diseased by keeping the sadness in the center. According to him, there are four steps involved in any kind of disorder or disease. They are namely i) Exists (Is) ii) Reason iii) Remedy and iv) Root of the situation or problem. These steps are named “Four Nobel Paths of Buddha”. He has given a formulation for analyzing and eradicating any kind of disease or problem in society.

The analysis examines that the utility of the four noble Paths of Buddha can be investigated in many fields namely i) Disease ii) Poverty iii) Miss-match in education, and iv) Social Crime. For example, if a disease exists, there is a reason for the disease, and there is a remedial approach for that; but the disease is not eradicated as no one can approach the root of the disease. In the case of poverty, a similar kind of analysis reveals that poverty exists, there is a reason for poverty, and there is a remedial aspect for tackling or minimizing poverty, but poverty still exists in society. This is because; no one is approaching the root of poverty. A similar kind of analysis can be explored for Miss Match in education and social crime. In the case of poverty, a thinker like Karl Marx has written many books on the existence of poverty, and he found out the reasons behind poverty. He also found the remedial aspects of poverty; but, the same (poverty) still exists. This is because no one has reached or analyzed the route of poverty. Lord Buddha coined the same in the Four Nobel Path for eliminating any kind of problems or situations.

6.2.2 How to tackle the root of the problem?

Normally the philosopher or thinker can reach the root of the problem by balancing the two lobes (hemispheres) of the brain. Everyone has a Right lobe (hemisphere) and a Left lobe (hemisphere) of the brain and there are yet to be balanced. The right hemisphere is responsible for mental activity; whereas, the left lobe (hemisphere) is related to vital force (energy-related). Normally human beings are lagging in the development of the right hemisphere. The Left lobe and Right Lobe yield IQ (intelligent question) and EQ (emotional question) respectively. Once they are balanced, the development of the spinal cord (Neru Danda) occurs. This means the complete domain of the brain has to be evolved and kept in a balanced condition for reaching the root of the problem. The divine quality defined in the prayer of Hanuman Chalisa can be helpful to balance both lobes efficiently.

6.3 The Utility of Assets (purushartha) in Trading Business

The trader who is lethargic, idol, and dull cannot improve the business. But, the dynamic trader will always be working in a committed, dedicated, and enthusiastic manner. In the case of a lethargic condition, the trader will frame a mental condition like ‘‘whatever is written in the fate, the same will be obtained in trading business’’. They believe in fate but, they forget that fate is always in our hands. The trader used to forget the principal of Purushartha (asset). It is a well-known fact that god helps those who help themselves. Hence the trader should come out from the grip of fate and follow the principle of commitment and dedication in the profession. Hanuman Chalisa indicates that the hidden divine quality could be explored to overcome the lethargic situation of the trading business. A similar kind of action was taken by Sri Hanuman Ji to overcome his lethargic condition while he was in search of Mother Janaki. Sri Hanuman Ji has overcome the procrastination aspect by exploring his hidden divine quality.

Purushartha always helps to keep the mind at a very low frequency. At the same time, there will be a good reduction in the thinking cycle. Purushartha becomes the controller of the mind. Hence, Purushartha development is one of the means for keeping the mind free from mind modification (Chitta Vritti Nirodhah). Purushartha has greater mystery over the mind or mind stuff (Chitta). The achievement of assets or Purushartha provides a positive impact in the form of “Chetana” (consciousness) in human cells. This Chaitanya (Nucleus) exists in the cells of the human being to protect the cells. This nucleus keeps account of the all living activities of all cells of the body. This means that the nucleus of the cell provides energy to the human body.

The activity of the nucleus (DNA & RNA) depends on the healthiness of cells. The nucleus also provides strength or energy to the cells, which are not healthy. Hence spirituality insists on or emphasizes developing the Purushartha (assets) for keeping the cells with pure energy; so that, the nucleus at each cell (which is blueprint of the life) works in a healthy condition. During the evolution process, the purity of cells endorses a healthy way of uplifting the mind and energy (prana).

It is interesting to note that the obstruction for Purushartha is the Tamo-Guna (Distorted quality of mind). We must understand the principles behind 3H (head, heart, and hands) to eliminate or reduce the Turbidity of the mind. They are also called Mansa, Vacha, and Karmna.

6.4 Science related to breathing for cells purification

The head, heart, and hands together can be improved in yoga. In this way, concentration, creativity, and inner intuitions are developed. The analysis exhibits the benefits of developing 3H (head, heart, and hands) and the same can be achieved with the help of Hanuman Chalisa. The 3H (head, heart, and hands) can also be developed with the help “science of breathing” or by Pranayama. This (science of breathing) purifies the nadi of the internal body for a smooth flow of energy from the tips of the toes to the top of the head. This science also brings the transformational aspects of energy into matter and vice versa.

The image indicates the sequential breathing of “in” and “out” (inhalation and exhalation) in a proper way; especially through the spinal cord.

There are different kinds of sciences of breathing; but, the simple Pranayama taught for the common people is very useful and productive. The same is also termed slow and deep breathing through alternate nostrils. In brief, the same is called “alternate nostril breathing”. Slow and deep breathing helps to purify and energize the spine and chakra. This process of breathing draws a higher amount of oxygen through the magnetized field and kills the viruses in cells due to oxygen Bombardment. This process also helps to retain the property of anti-oxidant and glutathione in the body.

6.4.1 How 3H (Head, Heart, and Hand) can be developed by traders

The trader can visualize the Tip of the toes of the Bajarang Bali idol and move up to the top of the head while long exhalation (Long breathe out). Similarly while inhalation (Breathing in the process), Trader should keep the mind on the top of the head of Sri Hanuman Ji and let him come down at the end of inhalation. This way, the visualization process along with the breathing cycle will develop the concentration and creativity of the mind.

If the idol of Sri Hanuman Ji is not available, one can imagine any figure of Sri Hanuman Ji evolving and strengthening the mind. It is interesting to note that inhalation and exhalation of breath should be imagined through the spine. This kind of process should be followed on each Choupai (verse) of Hanuman Chalisa. The movement of the mind must be attached to the process of inhalation and exhalation. This process reminds us that we have i) Breath and ii) Mind as the main functional ingredients. Hence let us make use of the two (breath and mind) along with Choupai (verse) of Hanuman Chalisa for evolving of 3H (head, heart, and hands). We human beings are fortunate to have i) prana (connected with Karmna or Left Lobe) ii) mind (connected with Manas or Right Lobe) and iii) flow of breath in action through the spine. The 3H (Head, Heart, and Hands) are called i) Mansa ii) Vacha, and iii) Karmna. The Pranayama along with breath and recitation of Hanuman Chalisa can improve 3H of the traders easily. For this, the first line of the Choupai should be divided into two parts; one part should be taken while inhalation and another part should be taken during exhalation of the breath. This way, one Choupai will have two time longer inhalation and two time longer exhalation.

6.4.2 Science of Breathing and its Utility

This science makes the entire internal energy in dynamic form by utilizing the purification process with the help of Verses or Choupai of Hanuman Chalisa. In this way (adopting the science of breathing), we can remain hail and healthy. For this, the Choupai (verse) of Hanuman Chalisa should be kept along with prana and mind to eliminate the intensity of emotion and fluctuation of the thinking process. This also keeps us in the present moment. Lord Buddha has also given a similar kind of process which is very popular in the world and the same is known as “Vipassana” meditation.

We will be able to get rid of the new Kriyaman Karma (day-to-day karma), also known as “Karma Sangraha”, by adopting the science of breathing or Vipassana meditation. They (Vipassana and the other types Meditations) also minimize or eliminate the Sanchit Karma (collective Imprints). The business community can make use of this science (Techniques of Meditation) for evolution and better progress in life.

6.5 Purushartha of Traders and Divine Quality

It is a well-known fact that a trader mostly uses “Purushartha” (asset) in the business. The four limbs of Purushartha are i) Kama (desire) ii) Arth (means of finance) iii) Dharma (sense of righteous duty and responsibility) and iv) Moksha (freedom from the birth cycle). The same is explained in the image. The image clarifies how the limbs of Purushartha are related to the chakra (center) of the body and how they can be transformed into divine quality scientifically. This means that how the trader can make use of the Purushartha along with the physical centers of the human body and the same (Purushartha) can be used for developing the divine quality as Sri Hanuman Ji had. Similarly, traders can make use of the divine quality to evolve the limbs of Purushartha. Both ways are possible.

In business, there could be many up-and-down phases. They (up and down phases) might be continued for a long or short period. In case, the downfall is in progress for a long time, there could be a fall in divine quality too. This is because of mental disturbance during the period. This indicates that if a trader maintains the divine quality, they can protect themselves from long downfall in trading. For this, four limbs namely i) Honesty ii) Integrity iii) Transparency, and iv) Accountability must be integrated into the trading business. It is observed that a trader will have a downfall if spiritual life is completely ignored in the day-to-day trading business. This means that even in the busy schedule of business activity, the trader must not ignore spirituality. This is because; spirituality always brings peace and prosperity along with other fortunes. Traders can come out from any kind of ignorance by reciting Hanuman Chalisa. It is a well-known fact that Hanuman Chalisa can be recited and meditated at any time and any place. But the same (recitation) has to be carried out in a yogic way. In case of the businessman gets disturbed due to certain problems or tension (because of unwanted problems with the customer), he/she can take the shelter of Hanuman Chalisa for obtaining solutions to the business problems.

Nowadays, Gurukul teaching (teaching in the Ashram of a Guru) does not exist in all communities including the business community. Due to this (absence of Gurukul teaching), the trader does not get the development of EQ (Emotional Quotient); which is essential to balance IQ (Intelligent Quotient). This means that Hanuman Chalisa is a helping hand to narrow the gap between IQ and EQ.

6.6 Achievement of Hanuman Chalisa

Hanuman Chalisa provides many achievements in a materialistic world. It is observed that all segments of human personality like Scientists, Managers, politicians, Students, Youth and Senior Citizens, and all kinds of yogis can benefit from utilizing Hanuman Chalisa. In case, the Labour class recites the Hanuman Chalisa; they get benefited in day-to-day life.

The image indicates how each segment of the human personality can enjoy a blissfulness (jivant), happy and peaceful life during strong health, wealth, and prosperity. The four divine qualities of Sri Hanuman Ji are very productive for our healthy life, purity in breath and mind, freedom from the negative emotional stage (Klesh-vikas), and balancing of visionary awareness; so that, one should become free from mental tension. At the same time, one should enjoy the divine quality which will bring healthy, wealth, prosperity, and a spiritual way of living. To experience all positive qualities in the business community, they (traders) must understand the powerful theme of Hanuman Chalisa. The image clarifies how one can get all the positive qualities by adopting the four Davik-Gunas of Sri Hanuman Ji.

For example, if the level of Bala exists at and above Manipur-Chakra and the same gets strengthened; then, Complete and sound health in the physical body (free from the disease) can be achieved. Likewise, one can get rid of negative emotions by utilizing the developed bio-plasmic energy at the heart center; Otherwise, Klesh-vikar is very painful throughout life. Similarly, by the development of intellect, there will be a balancing effect in the two hemispheres, and then, creativity will blossom. The development of the wisdom domain will bring forth the mystery of spiritual life along with peace, prosperity, and blissfulness. At this stage, one becomes truly introverted. This indicates that a businessman can make life very prosperous and enjoyable by adopting the different approaches as described in Hanuman Chalisa.

6.7 The Advantage of Hanuman Chalisa for the business community

The trader community runs around the business day and night. The trader can enjoy the hail and healthy life by improving their physical strength as developed by Sri Hanuman Ji. The same can also be developed with the help of simple yoga asana. This is because of their prolonged way of sitting while dealing with the business. Likewise, they have insomnia due to the grip of business problems. However, they can come out from insomnia, poor breathing system, and digestive system by Pranayama and also by reciting the Hanuman Chalisa along with the cycle of breath. The business community gets the highest advantage in their management ability and intuitive approach if they progress in spiritual life; which could be easily achieved with the help of contemplation on Sri Hanuman Ji and also proper recitation of Hanuman Chalisa.

7. SCIENTIST AND FOUR BOONS

7.0 What is Science?

The scientist collectively makes a framework and they call it a hypothesis; which seems to cover all the inputs of the research to yield a certain conclusion. This means that the framing of a hypothesis is the starting point of any scientific discovery under the universal law of nature (Prakriti). The scientists, as well as spiritual masters (both), believe that nature is uniform throughout the universe. Believing this, they (scientists) used to get a mathematical model for the framed hypothesis so that they can proceed in the domain of the universe, adopting highly sophisticated scientific instruments. Unless a mathematical model is obtained, the scientist cannot move in the depth of discovery and in that way, they cannot find the result which can further be explained universally to anyone. After the mathematical model, they arrange to explore the result with or without certain modifications. In this way, scientists provide a unified result from a dual perspective by using the mass, charge, and spinning action of the element.

Major steps followed in science – Scientists frame scientific discovery in four domains during four major steps. They are namely i) distorted concepts to be understood and to frame them in a single concept ii) to frame the collected information in one single hypothesis iii) comparative study of the framed concepts iv) to frame the law with the support of the experiment. In other words, the scientists analyze the distorted concepts described in a single hypothesis, prepare a comparative statement with the help of a mathematical or experimental model and lastly discover a universal law that is acceptable to all under certain conditions.

Scientific law keeps hypothesis separate from logic. This is because; a hypothesis can work under universal law (law of nature). In brief, the hypothesis is the first step in science. From the piles of hypotheses, scientists develop a second step by which piles of hypotheses can be given a specific dimension (shape). In the third step, the concept (theory) is framed. Afterward, the framed concept becomes the scientific law under the mathematical and experimental framework. In brief, scientific development can be summarized as generating piles of information, segregation of the hypothesis into one specific dimension, integrating the same along with mathematical and experimental models and framing the universally acceptable scientific law. That is why; the step-wise development of scientific law is parallel with nature’s law, as nature’s rule (law) is uniform at all levels of the universe. This kind of scientific development is parallel with the divine qualities mentioned in the prayer of Hanuman Chalisa; which trigger the four nuclei of the human system (Body and Brain) and the same works as the energy distribution system in Microcosm.

7.1 Science and Spirituality

Modern science exhibits that the matter (atom) is composed of many subatomic particles (elements). When matter is disintegrated; then only energy is available. For example, Uranium on the surface looks like Sand; but the same (Uranium) provides energy after disintegration. This means that matter consists of energy. This is because; matter is inert and keeps un-evolved energy. Similarly, the human brain is like a matter; which is composed of certain associated elements. For instance, the brain is composed of five gross elements (Panchamaha Bhoota), information centers for ten senses (Dash Indriyas) associated with objects or vishaya-like essence of Panch Maha Bhoota; which is known as Tan Matra. All these are composed of grey mass like a brain; where interconnecting elements like Neurons (manas or mind) are made active in due course. When the composed and intact elements (brain) get disintegrated; then, the hidden energy is the only substance (Tattva) that is left over. The same (energy) is experienced as the Power of the Soul (Atma Shakti).

In other words, the scientific disintegration in the brain and the evolution process in spirituality can easily be compared with the atomic change in the brain. Science disintegrates matter to take out invisible energy from inert matter. Similarly, the spiritual master disintegrates the brain with the help of the associated inner instrument (Antahkarna) (concerned with five elements) to evolve lastly in the form of pure energy. The same (pure energy) is known as consciousness. The spiritual master, while evolving (nearer to pure energy) becomes creative and powerful. Scientists can make use of the above-mentioned evolution process of spirituality to prepare them more energetic while investigating the cosmos. After obtaining this kind of scenario, scientists can discover many inert and unknown substances available on Earth and also on many planets. It is interesting to note that science could establish a formula related to the disintegration of matter in the twentieth century (20th century). This formula (E= mc2) has become the universal law between matter and energy.

However, the sages of India have already established similar kinds of concepts on an experience basis. Now the same (Scientific formula) endorses the achievements of sages experienced hundreds of thousands of years ago. In brief, the 21st century can have a common platform for scientists and spiritual masters to work together to discuss many unknown facts with the help of each other experiences and results. That is why, Swami Vivekananda advised both (Scientist and Spiritual master) by stating that “The Best of the West (Modern Science) and “The Best of the East” (Spirituality and Yoga) should be brought together to take advantage of each other’s discovery. This kind of joint venture will provide the clue to resolve the complexity of scientific wizard and will also be helpful to Spiritual Master in understanding the difficulty in the process of evolution.

7.1.1 How does spirituality differ from the scientific process?

In spirituality, there is a difference in the invention or discovery of the objects that exist in nature. For instance, scientists take nature (Prakriti) as the basis for all discoveries; whereas yogi takes the absolute or truth as the basis for all the laws existing in the universe carried out by nature. For science, nature (Prakriti) is the planner, initiator, executor, and closer of the scenario after completion. But in the spiritual domain, the yogi finds that a mirror view of the absolute (truth) along with its power (power of absolute) works as an ingredient in the hand of nature (Prakriti) to complete any kind of action. Yogi could know the secret of nature (Prakriti); by which, nature or Prakriti creates all the objects of the universe starting from stars, galaxies, and planets, animates, and inanimate. In this way, the yogi views that nature takes all ingredients from the mirror view of the absolute and the power of the absolute. This means that the mirror view of the absolute is known as “space” or composure of trafficking. Similarly, the power of the absolute can be called “Energy” or composure of networking. Modern science also takes these two (Energy and Space) into consideration for making scientific laws along with time and space. Before Einstein discovered the “Theory of Relativity”, time and space were taken as independent entities. However, they (time and space) are now interrelated.

Modern science does not take “the absolute or truth” separately; but, the spiritual master takes this (absolute or truth) as “God beyond creation”; and the same is also known as conscious observer (Sakshi Chaitanya). Science understands the importance of the observer in the process of measuring the state of particles; but, science could not dive down to the status of “conscious observer”. That is why; there are complexities to evolving the “superstring” theory.

7.2 The problems of developed and underdeveloped countries in a scientific age.

Science has made good progress, but science cannot narrow down the problems between developed and underdeveloped countries (including developing countries). Science has created virtual parameters to measure the problems existing between developed and underdeveloped countries (including developing countries). For example, underdeveloped countries of the 21st century are facing the problems like diseased, mal nutritious food, poverty, and crime. This is because; underdeveloped countries have lost their cultural heritage and at the same time, number of the anti-social elements has increased. Underdeveloped countries can get rid of this kind of problem with the help of yoga. This is because; yoga improves physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health. This kind of four-dimensional development provides sustainable development in the personality.

Now, the advantage of yoga is being understood by many developed and underdeveloped people; who in turn, will solve the multi-dimensional problems that exist in society, especially in underdeveloped countries. It does not mean that yoga is going to solve the problems of the underdeveloped country only, but the same (yoga) will also be effective for developed countries. In this way, the solution for multi-dimensional problems that surfaced in underdeveloped countries (including developing countries) can be minimized or eliminated. Aastang yoga with meditation, spirituality, and Hanuman Chalisa can provide a stable solution to the problems of underdeveloped and developing countries.

On the other hand, the developed countries do not address their all problems but cover them under the red carpet. For instance, the problems related to the disease are taken care of by building “old age homes”. Similarly, the problems related to family matters are covered by building central jails. Likewise, to hide the problems of anti-social elements, they have many mental hospitals. In case of cultural disparity, the youth of developed countries take shelter in nightclubs.

The image indicates that the problems in developed countries are kept beneath the carpet by making institutions like homes for senior citizens, central jails, mental illness hospitals, and nightclubs. This way the developed countries are managing the problems of the society but not acting at the root of each kind of problem. In the case of underdeveloped countries, the people are helpless but they keep a strong heritage and culture; which are helping hand to have the solace of the problems. While comparing the problems, it seems that underdeveloped and developing countries can face many problems (as they have) taking shelter from strong cultural activities. This is because; the cultural and heritage property of any country is very important as the same solve many unknown problems of society and also solves the mental problems of intellectuals. In this way, the countries will be better creative even under the umbrella of poverty and unbalanced education. The Spiritual Masters have understood the importance of “Culture” or “Heritage” prevailing in society; but for scientists, the same comes under the purview of society development and is left for the politicians to deal with.

7.3 Society and Scientific Development amid Hanuman Chalisa

Scientific development brings the upliftment of the individual, social environment, economic development, and cultural development. We have to analyze whether scientific developments are the only means of uplifting the drawbacks of personal and social factors. However, it is observed that the growth of poor health, uncultured behavioral patterns, restless life, and loneliness are more prominent in society in general. Because of this (disparity); society, members of family, youth, and the country as a whole get affected. In addition, institutions like major health centers, psychological centers, and institutions related to financial matters, and educational centers for political and general management get affected. It has also been observed that there are effects of Technological Development on Society. Industrialization should bring a healthy atmosphere to education and cultural development; but on the surface, the effects on education and cultural development are different. This is because; the proper inclusion of education policy and local heritage at the place of industrialization is not taken care of while establishing the industry. Every region has a different heritage and educational pattern before industrialization. The same is also getting impacted by so-called modern education. There seems to be an underlying gap in modern education and the cultural life of young & old.

On the surface, the mismatch seems to be a hurdle mainly to the strong heritage and cultural assets of the society. Because of this; the inner divine quality of the common mass gets deteriorated. The analysis shows that there is a loss of divine quality among the industrialized people and also the loss of cultural environment.

It is observed that imbalance among the problems and disparity explored by analysis can be minimized with the help of Hanuman Chalisa’s recitation. Hanuman Chalisa provides a smoothening effect on the mind; which in turn, helps to balance the pros and cons of life. It should be remembered that scientific development is very essential along with inner human development by using Hanuman Chalisa. Hanuman Chalisa provides the methodology for the development of 4 divine qualities (like Bala, Buddhi, Vidya, and Klesh Vikar) by imposing the process of Pranayama on the verses (Choupai) of Hanuman Chalisa. It (Hanuman Chalisa) helps to balance the industrial dispute among the management and staff (team workers).

7.4 The Need for Spirituality in the 21st Century amid the Boons and Banes of the twentieth century

The twentieth (20th) century was the era of Science and industrialization. In that period many modern scientific concepts and laws were established. Among the established concepts and laws, a few are worth to be mentioned and they are namely i) Atomic energy ii) Nanotechnology iii) Industrialization iv) Green Revolution v)multinational organizational Community vi) Economization service utility to customers vii) Growth of capitalism, socialism, and communism and viii) Modern education etc. They are no doubt Boon for the society. The development (Prakriti) always keeps boons and banes together. Whenever boons are achieved; the same will be associated with the banes. The best example is research on sea churning (Samudra Manthan). During the sea churning, the Nectar (Amrit) and poison (Visha) came out. Similar is the case with research and development in the scientific domain; where many advantageous laws were established for science and technology keeping their banes unattended.

The boons connected with development of green revolution, nuclear energy, white revolution, nano technology, space technology and material technology of the twentieth (20th) century is worth welcoming. At the same time, the banes related to each boon should be separately tackled; so that, the same (banes) can easily be managed. In this context, Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (SVYASA), Bengaluru, and Spiritual Awareness Program (SAP), Hyderabad is working to tackle the banes of each boon. This is because; spirituality and yoga provide an easy methodology to solve the banes positively so that the boons are fully utilized; keeping the boons free from adverse conditions of the banes.

In this connection, Hanuman Chalisa can be utilized for minimizing the imprints of banes that exist in the brain cells. Actually, the brain cells are the Treasure-house for providing good solutions, if the same is free from bad imprints. By developing the right hemisphere, the scientist can get the solution to the bane; while discovering the Boon. To achieve better results, there should be a common platform where scientists and spiritual masters should come together to analyze and solve the banes (whatsoever came out during the evolution process of boons).

7.5 The Need for progressive development

The image describes the progressive development. We do have certain lust related to physical, mental, intellectual, and spiritual domains; which get attached to successive development of the human personality. The lust related to negative emotion has to be changed. Naturally, the positive emotion has to be grown; which can be obtained by progressively developing the four divine qualities.

During self-development, we have to come out of dual phases like pain and pleasure, birth and death, profit and loss, and respect and disrespect. This kind of introspection at each stage of divine quality development is needed to review our internal progress.

The image provides clarity for successive and stepwise development and the same can easily be obtained to get change from negative emotions to positive emotions. The divine qualities evolved at four centers yields a change in behavioral pattern. This is because; the consciousness (Chetana) gets evolved which anchors the respective field of energy (not working) and space (trafficking) necessary at that center. The Downfall in consciousness lowers the Physical, emotional, mental, and intellectual levels of a person. We come out of the weakness when we get well established at four conscious level’s functioning (Chetana centers). The progressive growth of goodness is desirable for scientists too.

7.6. Two eternal Tattva (particles) out of four fundamental particles

By developing four centers of consciousness (Chetana), energy (Urja) for networking and space (universe) for trafficking can be understood. Scientists can take uniform and balanced actions of nature in the universe and call it symmetry. In symmetry, there is a perfect balance of energy and space. By symmetry, Scientists want to research the root of the truth. The difference between yogis and scientists is the different approaches adopted by them. For scientists, Nature is all like a controller, means, and performer. But Yogi takes Brahman (God or truth) as the controller and nature (Prakriti) as the doer or performer (managing director) of the universe. The yogic approach indicates that there are three different elements (Padartha) and they are infinite and eternal.

In the case of scientific research, nature or Prakriti is the whole and soul elements to create, sustain and dissolve the universe. Because of this (scientist dependency on nature), they get Bound themselves with certain assumptions, and many unresolved and incomplete scientific concepts are yet to be explored. The progressive age of Scientists started when they believe that the concept of the uniform nature of symmetry in the universe thus exists and the same is parallel along with the presence of truth. Scientists discovered the presence of the Higgs field based on a mathematical model long ago; but, they were unable to confirm the same as they could not get experimental results till 2012. It is a well-known fact that all the fields in nature pass through the Higgs field to gain mass. As long as any particle of a different field exists in the Higgs field, the same particles gain a higher mass.

Shri Tulsidas Ji took them (energy, space, and god’s field or Higgs field) and brought them into three forms like 3H (Mansa, Karmna, and Vacha) in devotion. However, Four Davik Guna signifies the horizontal layer of the Universe and the human body. Likewise three H (Head, heart, and hand) signify the particular column path of the universe and the human body. Shri Tulsidas Ji found centers of the universe, assuming the universe as an infinitely large atomic structure, consisting of two points Purusha (space) and Prakriti (nature) at its (visible universe) center and he mentioned that “Siya Ram may Sab Jag Jani”.

The visible universe (infinite large atom) works like an atomic structure where a proton (ram) and neutron (Siya) is at their center and an electron (the power or charge of absolute) orbits the outer periphery of the atom. The proton, neutron, and electron are the building blocks of an atom. The infinitely large atomic structure of the universe is always supposed to be neutral in normal conditions. The visible universe functions like an ordinary atom having a proton and neutron at its center and its electron orbits the periphery of the atom. Shri Tulsi das Ji brings out the inner essential dimensions of the visible universe which can be compared with the fundamental particles found by modern scientists. The scientist takes BBB (Basic building block) of an atom for further investigation related to upward and downward possibilities; likewise, Yogi takes Purusha and Prakriti under the boundary of Universal energy for evolution and manifestation.

7.7 Energy and matter in science and spirituality (As per Upanishad)

Energy and matter are interrelated. Energy comes out after the disintegration of atomic particles. The scientist has shown the mathematical equation of energy and matter. The same is expressed as E=mc2. In a microcosm, the energy can be understood with the help of “Prana” inside the body. For example, Prana inside the body (Energy) is the product of physical structure as breath (matter associated with Pingla path) and the speed of mind. This product of matter and speed of Mind comes out as energy in terms of breath or Atma Shakti.

Individual energy resembles cosmic energy where cosmic mind and matter play a role. For example, the “Rasa Lila” played by Lord Krishna indicates the purity of the highest speed of mind to get multiplied with the mass of Gopi to form the divine energy. In Meditation, when we dive deep into different layers of the brain, this very Prana places a great Role by changing or transforming energy depending on the modification of the mind (Chitta Vritti). This functional aspect of Prana can be observed by common people when they become engrossed in Sat Sang or the tune of Rasa Lila. At that time, the Sadhaka will be in a blissful state. This kind of achievement should be recalled, whenever we get a lower state of consciousness mind. In the scientific domain, this energy plays a great role while continuing any creation. For instance, while the creation of the mud pot, the matter (Mud), energy (wheel); intellect (the mind of the Potter), and the skill of the potter (all together) give a good object. There, energy is essential along with matter and skill. In-universe, the energy (Urja) comes from a higher source (truth or absolute), but the same (energy) of the cosmos remodeling the matter connected with stars and planets. The balancing of interstellar and interplanetary systems is due to permutation and combination of cosmic Prana (energy); which is also known as the power of absolute (POA).

It is explained in “Prashnopanishad” that Prana provides the energy to support nine elements namely i) five elements (Panch Maha Bhoota) like earth, water, fire, air, and ether ii) Ear, iii) Eyes, iv) Mind and v) sound (Vani) in the human system. Likewise in the macrocosm (universe), the main energy supports five basic elements by which planets, stars, and Galaxies are made. The other terms described in the microcosm (human system) resemble three fundamental particles and thunder in the universe.

In that way, the cosmos supports three fundamental particles like i) proton (Varuna in Veda) ii) electron (Mitra in Veda) iii) neutron (Aryama in Veda), and Thunder sound of the cosmos. Upanishad indicates that without the support of energy (Prana), nine elements exist in the human body, and also in the cosmos will have no functional strength.

Upanishad provides emphasis on energy (Prana) for the function of the human system as well as the function of the universe. This means that importance of energy (Power of Absolute) is the essential means for sustaining the universe, the materialistic world, and Jiva too. In this context, it is worthwhile to recall the address of Swami Vivekananda during his tour of the Western World after the “World Parliament on Religion”. He used to invite the scientists to work on “Aakasha and Prana”; which are two important aspects of creation. One among the two is “Prana”; which is an important aspect of the truth or absolute. After a few years of his talk, the scientist could evolve the concept of particle physics where Prana and Aakasha resemble with Lepton family and Quark. They (Lepton and Quark) are also termed as energy for networking and space for trafficking in science. In the human system, the utility of energy leads us to grow the Atma Shakti, happy life, have a peaceful mind, acquire knowledge, and get bliss. In addition, by utilizing energy (Prana), we evolved in a higher plane by getting energization.

7.8 Importance of Pineal Gland and Scientist

Scientists in higher research fields used to work late at night. They have to travel at night, and they get Jet lag problems. Many times, scientists have to work in a very cold atmosphere. Because of these entire scenarios, the working atmosphere of scientists gets changed. Thus (a change in the working atmosphere) makes their pineal gland not work properly. The healthiness of the Pineal gland deteriorates due to a lack of “melatonin” chemicals; which (melatonin) normally secretes between 11 P.M. and 2 A.M. in the night. The secretion of melatonin gets minimized or stopped if sound sleep is not obtained. It is a well-known fact that normal melatonin secretion regulates the healthiness of mental life. The poor secretion of melatonin is because of the unhealthy condition of the pineal gland. This means that either of the two has to be corrected. Melatonin helps the proper function of the pineal gland. An unhealthy pineal gland is responsible for the poor digestive system and insomnia problems. Because of poor pineal function and poor melatonin chemical availability, the concentration and contemplation power of scientists become weak. Their concentration and contemplation can be corrected by the natural generation of melatonin; which comes out from the pineal gland. The loss of melatonin or weak functioning of the pineal gland can also be compensated with the help of yoga and also by recitation of Hanuman Chalisa with yogic means.

In addition, the meditation on the vibrant form of Sri Hanuman Ji (or any five prescribed God by Adi Shankara) can compensate for the loss by activating the nerves responsible for melatonin secretion. The effectiveness of the pineal gland reduces after seven years of childhood age. The melatonin gets secreted adequately in deep sleep or deep meditation. That is why; everyone prescribes the deep sleep state to recover from diseases. The active function of the pineal gland is very essential for research-oriented work, especially for scientists.

Scientists can get the pineal gland activated with the help of deep meditation; which lies in the vicinity of the corpus callosum of the part of the brain. It is to be noted that the corpus callosum is the white mass of the brain; which is taken as a “psychic tunnel” in yoga and meditation. The development of a psychic tunnel is the aim of meditation; so that, the doorstep of consciousness (guru tattva) gets opened up to have the vision of “effulgent light” (Paramatma or God). Scientists connected with the invention of “Unknown from nature” should try to evolve guru tattva to get “Knowability”. The process to obtain guru tattva has been described in the first chapter of the book.

8. POLITICIAN AND FOUR BOONS

8.0 Importance of Hanuman Chalisa (spiritual arena) for a politician

Despite the development of politics, there is a big gap between rich people, middle-class people (consisting of higher-income groups of people and lower-income groups of people), and poor people. For this reason, the distribution and utilization of common needs are not smoothly distributed in society.

The simple reason is that the politicians are unable to develop the positive emotion among the people; so that, they should have the willingness of the brotherhood among the associate in the society. By developing positive emotions, there will be a reduction in the difference of opinion among the neighborhood and also among the people of the society. There are four essential dimensions in society namely i) Disease ii) Poverty iii) Education and iv) Behavioural pattern; which are to be addressed for uplifting the individual in general and the society in a specific way. The four essential dimensions are part and parcel of human society.

It is interesting to note that the four dimensions of human society are parallel with the divine qualities of Hanuman Chalisa. In case the divine qualities in a Politician are not developed, the common public will not get any benefits of distribution qualities. This is because the policy prepared by the Politician will not be favorable for the distribution of the benefit related to the growth of the society and also for industrialization. It is worthwhile to note that the heart center of a person should have a positive emotion. In case this center (the heart center of the people) is developed by politicians, they will be in a position to develop the other three important centers within. This is because positive emotion developed at the heart center of a person is equivalent to the achievement of “Klesh Vikar” of Hanuman Chalisa. In case all these centers of a Politician are developed, he/she (Politician) will be able to plan, execute and complete the development scenario in the society.

In this way, the Politician will try to narrow down the gap between one segment of society and other segments. It is also observed that if the Politician follows a spiritual life, he/she will be creative and powerful in his/her profession. In this way, the Politician will be able to narrow down the needs of the living gap among the poor, middle-class, and rich segments of society.

8.1 Ego and Hanuman Chalisa

Most of us are in the grip of ego. The ego gets enriched when we are in the grip of dimensions like i) Caste ii) Place iii) Language and iv) Religions. Normally, Politicians use these limbs to fulfill their selfish attitude. In turn, society gets downfall trends in progressive development. However, the ego can be minimized or eliminated with the help of Hanuman Chalisa; otherwise, the caste, place, language, and religion will grow effectively. The same has been analyzed in the image.

The seven chakras of our body show the different dimensions of energy distribution. The same can be compared with the four divine qualities of Hanuman Chalisa. The growth of ingredients like caste, place, language, and religion is highly grown in poor societies. The poor society also exists; whenever the divine qualities at the four divine centers are bare-minimum among the people of the society. The ingredients like caste, place, language, and religious activists connected are the supporter of an ego-centered society. The same can be minimized or eliminated by properly reciting Hanuman Chalisa. The different Choupai (verses) provides the method for the reduction of ego.

Daivik Guna (divine qualities) yields positive energy. By developing positive energy, the ingredients like caste, place, language, and religion will have the least possible existence in the minds of politicians, and hence ego of politicians will be minimized. To achieve this, Hanuman Chalisa advises that politicians should have a sense of duty and the rights of their associates in their minds. To achieve this, the politician can do the duty by bringing mind, vital force, and sound or Vani (Mansa, Vacha. Karmna) at higher chakra and pay attention to the implementation of the society plan. At that time, the politician will certainly get grand success in the implementation of political desire and will. This is because, this method (keeping Mansa, Vacha, and Karmna together) brings all spiritual qualities related to the presence of higher consciousness. At pure consciousness, there is Kaal (time), inner nature, mental strength, and knowledge amid Effulgent Light. In the presence of a strong ego, the same will hide the visible pure consciousness. This indicates that the ego becomes an obstruction to the visibility of Effulgent Light (Param Prakash). The obstruction can be removed or eliminated by the recitation of Hanuman Chalisa in a yogic way. For this, each Choupai (verse) of Hanuman Chalisa should be divided into four segments and each segment should be taken while Puraka (inhalation) and Rechaka (exhalation) time of Pranayama.

8.2 How to overcome Immoral values through Hanuman Chalisa?

Some Politicians are blamed to possess immoral values due to their weaknesses. However, many Politicians are keeping very high moral values to serve society. Because of certain misconceptions, politics is blamed to be a dirty game. The Politician can firmly maintain the moral value by taking Sankalpa (resolution) to serve society selflessly. By taking the Sankalpa (resolution), the politician can improve the Icha Shakti (willpower), Kriya Shakti (determination of action), and Gyan Shakti (power of knowledge). The strong resolution (Sankalpa) will bring forth the true service-motive of politicians even during an immoral environment. The behavioral pattern of selfless politicians will grow like a lotus amid dirty water without catching any contamination. To achieve strong willpower of commitment, dedication, and enthusiasm, the politician can take the shelter of spiritual education along with modern education. The mixture of the two (spiritual education and modern education) should also be propagated among the public to have transparent dealing with the members of society. It does not mean that the politician has to undergo complete Vedic education, but the politician must understand the four divine qualities described in the prayer of Hanuman Chalisa and the same to be implemented in the day-to-day curriculum.

8.2.1 The Base of immoral values

In the present day, the human brain is distorted because of a lack of resolution (Sankalpa). In the case of strong Sankalpa (resolution), the mind concentrates on the resolution and does not get much fluctuation. Mostly, the young politician and manager lag behind the strong sankalpa in serving the self and society in a committed way. However, some of them follow the moral values required in society. It is observed that the poor Sankalpa or No Sankalpa attracts the glamour of immoral values easily. Therefore, the politician becomes the prey of bribes, greed, and corruption as they do not possess the fence of Sankalpa (resolution). It is also observed that the politician and people of the society adopt immoral values to fulfill their basic needs and also to get temporary achievement. In due force, the adaptation of immoral values (once or twice) becomes part and parcel of life to lead the future life.

It is experienced that moral value provides a healthy environment, a wealthy society an educated mass, and a highly cultured society. The fall of moral values yields physical disease (illness), poverty in society, unemployment among the youth, and anti-social elements concerned with crime in society. The politician should grow the Sankalpa (resolution) in a guided direction so that the politician and society should not be deprived of positive growth. That is why, spirituality provides the emphasis on Sankalpa (resolution) to be adopted firmly; so that, there should not be any growth of illness (disease), lack of money flow, unemployment, and criminals in society. Hanuman Chalisa contributes much to following the strong Sankalpa (resolution) as Sri Hanuman Ji possessed.

8.3 Management Quality of Sri Hanuman Ji

The image describes the relationship between the seven chakras of human beings and the four divine qualities of Sri Hanuman Ji. The forty verses (Choupai) of Hanuman Chalisa are related to four divine qualities described in the prayer. In this image, the first six Choupai are compared with the development of seven chakras of the human system. For instance, The Bala (strength) can be utilized for the development of physical, mental, and spiritual strength; because of this, there will be growth in bioplasmic energy. The verse (Choupai) like “Kumati nivar Sumati ke sangi” can be equated to lead us from a desire to spirituality (Kam se Rama). The same can also regulate the Apana prana (gravitational force). The verse indicated as “Tej Pratap…” could be taken for the improvement of Samana prana (strong nuclear force) to achieve a vibrant personality.

Similarly, the verse “Anjani Putr…” shows the strong relation with the mother (Matri Devo Bhavah); which is essential for human society. In connection with “Kanan Kundal…” indicates the development of Vishudhi chakra (throat center) with the help of Sankalpa or resolution. Likewise, the verse “Lok Ujagar…” indicates how to develop the internal energy for achieving consciousness (Chetana). A verse like “Gyan Guna Sagar…” resembles the removal of ignorance and establishment of knowledge.

The image describes the importance of verses of the Hanuman Chalisa to provide adequate strength in bioplasmic energy for the development of human chakra and the same could be utilized effectively in management quality. The user (Sadhaka) of Hanuman Chalisa can take different verses (Choupai) to purify, energize and transform his/her personality as an individual or as a politician. In addition, modern education also provides emphasis on the growth of moral values.

8.4 The effect of modern education on human personality

The experience indicates that there will be different effects of modern education on the personality of a human being. Modern education develops the left lobe of the brain without providing much attention to the right lobe (hemisphere). Because of this, there will be a mismatch between the two lobes. Thus, modern education increases the IQ (Intellect Quotient) of the brain; but, EQ (Emotional Quotient) is left unattended. The Right hemisphere can be improved by developing a manas (mind) segment of the inner instrument (Antah Karna). The development of the right lobe or hemisphere can also be achieved with the concentration and contemplation of the mind; which is normally achieved in “Antaranga Yoga” (inner yoga). The simple way to achieve EQ (improvement of the right lobe) could be achieved with the help of reciting Hanuman Chalisa in a yogic way. The absence of EQ or even the lower index of EQ ensures the poor behavioral pattern of the brain. This (underdeveloped right lobe) creates weak-mind, and the same disturbs the stable thinking process. This kind of situation does not provide a creative approach for the young politician. The experience explores that if modern education is integrated with spirituality or Gurukul Education or Yogic Education, the gap between IQ and EQ can be narrowed down. In this connection, modern education tries to develop the overall personality of an individual. Personality development is based on four dimensions namely i) Need base requirement ii) Strong self-desire iii) Index of Resolution (Sankalpa) and iv) Will power. The four bases of personality get affected by Modern Education. The effect of Modern Education has been observed on Youth, politicians, Managers, and technologists. This does not mean that Modern Education is harmful to the society. To get back the benefits of Vedic education, the mismatch between two lobes (IQ and EQ) has to be explored.

Let us try to understand Modern Education from a Psychologist’s point of view. In psychology, it is shown that there is a deep interdependency among the conscious, sub-conscious, and unconscious states of mind. The psychologist has exhibited that unless an unconscious state of mind is kept pure, the proper use of conscious and sub-conscious states of mind cannot be obtained. Therefore, young politician should adopt the process of Purification for each layer of the mind; so that, the maximum efficiency of each layer of the mind (especially the sub-conscious and conscious mind) can be utilized.

8.4.1 Comparison between Modern Education and Gurukul Education

In the olden days, Gurukul Education was the most important education before going to the professional kind of education. In Gurukul Education, the skills like horse riding, archery, wrestling, hunting, spiritual education, and ayurveda used to be taught. Because of Gurukul’s education as a base, the life journey in any profession was enjoyable. In the present day, professional education of ancient times took the shape of modern education except for the spiritual education of Gurukul time. Because of this (absence of spirituality), modern education is in a fragile condition. It is observed that the society in Modern Education got shrunk to a nuclear family and selfishness-oriented development without caring for their fellow beings of society. The core of Gurukul education is completely absent in modern education. This creates a weak base for modern education during its sustenance for a long time. The effect of not having Gurukul Education is visible among people in the society as they exhibit unhealthy signals like i) fear of losing health, wealth, position, name, and fame ii) having anxiety for no valid situation iii) frequently losing temper for least possible reasons and iv) slowly getting in the grief of depression because of loneliness in the society. Depression is especially observed among affluent people; however, other levels of people in society are also likely to become the prey of depression. Nowadays, Professional Education like Engineering, Medicine, Management, IT (Information Technology), computer, Journalism, Commerce, Accounting, Architecture, Aviation, etc are the aims of the youth without having the benefits of Gurukul Education. Because of this; the youth and the politicians are deprived of a strong base of honesty, integrity, transparency, and accountability. They become desirous of petty things and also inculcate a deep sense of greed in their personality. The thinker of the 19th Century used to feel that as soon as modern Education will have a good grip on society, illness (bad physical health), poverty, and mismatch in education will be minimized or eliminated. The thinkers were also confident to get rid of anti-social elements and criminal activity from society. The experience shows that Modern Education has a good grip on the Western world, but still, they are facing all kinds of problems related to the downfall of society. In addition, the people are more restless and they are in the grip of a rat race.

8.4.2 Effects of Modern Education on Society

Modern Education is very useful for society. That is why, we think that our children must get a higher level of modern education; so that, they will be more creative and productive for society. This also shows that a higher educated person consists of higher intelligence and their personal life seems to be prosperous. But in a larger period, a higher educated mass was found to be unrest and unproductive. Normally, highly educated people possess all comforts of life, having more than adequate bank balance, but they are also restless and internally disturbed. They do not possess sound physical health and they also suffer from insomnia. They do not move in the righteous direction against any critical problem; though, piles of information are available on the website. In turn, the individual and society are dragged to follow the rat race situation because of modern education. They (the educated mass) lags in taking strong resolution. However, the great gap between the two (IQ and EQ) can be narrowed down with the help of Vedic education and also with the help of reciting Hanuman Chalisa in a Yogic Way.

8.5 Utility of Hanuman Chalisa in the Administrative and Management Field

In Politics, the implementation of Law related to Administration and Management is very complex. But if the Politician does the needful by keeping purity in mind without being biased, he/she will be able to implement the Law related to social development very effectively. In the field of politics, time and mind should be distributed in four fields namely at i) family ii) field of work iii) friends and relatives, and iv) for self. It is observed that Politicians are engaged in political matters almost all sixteen hours a day without caring about family, friends, and self. That shows their living pattern runs in a political environment. They do not have time to think about the development of positive emotions about themselves, family members, relatives & friends. Therefore, the Politician does not get the benefits of the inner personality in the true sense.

The image shows four nodal points which are supposed to be developed in the lifetime by every individual. By developing them, one can grow in four fields of time and mind management. Politicians should understand the importance of the development of time and mind in four fields; otherwise, they will be deprived of many positive dimensions from the inner core. The yardstick or milestone for getting the mind and time developed in four fields of work indicates that a politician will be having i) good tolerance ii) accepting others’ ideas iii) appreciating the good works even carried out by the opposition party and iv) inner development of unconditional love. The development of all the positive factors in a politician depends on how they have distributed their time and mind at four domains of work in a true manner.

The four divine qualities (Davik Guna) of Hanuman Chalisa can purify and grow the mind in a very systematic way; so that, politicians can understand the importance of four domains of involvement in daily life by utilizing their time and mind effectively. In the field of yoga, the four important points in the brain are related to four divine qualities described in Hanuman Chalisa. They are namely i) Bala (strength) of divine quality which is related to Vishuddhi chakra or throat center ii) Klesh Vikar or removal of negative emotion resembles with development of the right lobe (connected with the top back of the head) iii) Intellect or Buddhi of Davik Guna signifies with the exploration of Left lobe (signifies the point between two eyebrows) and iv) Knowledge or Vidya of the divine quality mentioned in Hanuman Chalisa depends on the growth achieved at Turiya (post point) of the brain(resembles with top of the head).

The image explains that disturbance in psychical strength, trouble in energy flow, mental imbalance, and the problem of unrest of mind due to mind modification can be minimized or eliminated with the help of four divine qualities as described in Hanuman Chalisa. This is because; the negative emotion in mind creates the problems at every level of society because of the impure flow of mind frequency. This can be eliminated with the help of yoga and recitation of Hanuman Chalisa in a Yogic way; so that, the positive energy can be made available for the politician to implement their aims and objectives in the society.

The great advantage of Hanuman Chalisa can easily be experienced at a time when anyone including a politician remains in the grip of negative thoughts or emotions. Many times, Politicians face the annoyance or even abuse of the public without any specific reason for the disturbance. At that time, it is natural to have a query (investigation) to find out the faulty means. Yoga states that an individual’s negative wave of mind is the main culprit to create that kind of disturbance or situation. The statement of Yoga can help the politician as well as the public to understand their state of mind. During a bad time or bad situation, negative emotion could be minimized or eliminated if politicians dive deep into their inner core; where positive emotion will be abundant. In addition, the politician can examine how the miraculous positive effect of Hanuman Chalisa works at a time of negative emotion prevailing among the associates. They will find that sooner the negative emotion will subside and a positive atmosphere will prevail by reciting the verse (Choupai) of Hanuman Chalisa in a yogic way.

8.6 The need for Hanuman Chalisa to keep up “Raj Dharma”

The Veda, Brahma sutra, Upanishad, and Bhagavad-Gita are major standard or historic writings that exist related to the manifestation of the unknown, cause and effect, creation of the material world, and the existence of animates and inanimate; but they are difficult to understand, we are fortunate to have many ways to understand the manifestation and evolution process of Existence. For example, Veda is simplified with the help of the Upanishad and Brahma sutra. Further, they (Upanishad and Brahma sutra) have the simple clarification given by Lord Sri Krishna himself in Bhagavad Gita. Lord Shri Krishna provides the theme of The Veda, Upanishad, and Brahma sutra simply. In the 17th Century, Sri Tulsi Das ji wrote Hanuman Chalisa comprising of prayer and forty verses bringing the theme of Bhagavad-Gita in a nutshell. Therefore, Hanuman Chalisa can be taken as “Mini Veda” describing the essential features of the controller of the universe (Parmatma), controlling agency (Nature or Prakriti), and Existence of Jeeva-atma. The Hanuman Chalisa also provides the method to evolve up to the root (Parmatma) by adopting the Yogic process while recitation of the verses of Hanuman Chalisa.

8.7 Advantage of Hanuman Chalisa for Politician

Politicians pass through the rat race process of human civilization. During this process, Politicians have to control their physical health, emotional dimensions, and mental turmoil to achieve their aims and objectives. They do not have sufficient time to read and understand major standards (The Veda, Brahma sutra, Upanishad, and Bhagavad-Gita); so that, they can easily grow their internal core or personality. It seems that the understanding of Hanuman Chalisa and Yoga can help them to come out of this trap.Intelligent politicians should try to balance two hemispheres in the brain; so that, they can have proper EQ (Emotional Quotient) along with IQ (Intelligent Quotient). Otherwise, there will be Complications because of the imbalanced hemisphere. The imbalance hemispheres (IQ and EQ) gives birth to complication in the field of i) family atmosphere ii) financial mismatch iii) mental disturbance iv) uncultured behavior among associates v) reactivity and rejection of other’s suggestions and vi) condemnation and hatred nature towards the fellow associates. Such kind of Politicians will not be able to tackle society’s problems properly because of mental disturbances. To get rid of the troubles (nag), Yoga readily comes to the rescue.

9. MANAGERS AND FOUR BOONS

9.0 The four domains of Management resembles divine qualities

Management consists of four major dimensions they are namely i) Planning ii) Organizing iii) Leading and iv) controlling. All are equally important for the overall management scenario. For example, slackness in one field will affect the progress in another field. Hence they have to be integrated with proper analysis especially to achieve the Total Quality Management (TQM) control of the product. To achieve the aim and objective of management, the process has to be initiated, executed, and finally completed in an encouraging environment of teamwork. For this, each segment of the management domain has to work coherently keeping good interpersonal relationships, adopting the concept of “work like a master” and meeting the TQM of the management. The internal process of healthy management directly depends on the development of divine qualities of team managers and their associates. That is why; the management requires the inculcation of spiritual concepts along with their management chain. The simplest way is to understand the importance of Hanuman Chalisa to evolve the inner personality of the managers and their associates.

Sri Tulsidas Ji requested Sri Hanuman Ji for the four divine boons to be inculcated in him. They are i) Bala (strength) ii) Klesh vikar (removal of negative emotion) iii) Buddhi (intellect) and iv) Vidya (knowledge). They resemble four dimensions of management. This indicates that four fields of management can be related to the development of four centers of the human body. The first center is related to Manipur Chakra (Navel center); which exists in physical sheaths (Annamaya Kosha). There, bioplasmic energy (Prana) is getting uplifted to attain the power of heat of the inner sun. When the manager develops this center, he or she will become a strong leader among the colleague. This kind of leader will have good body language to express the aim and objective behind the work. That is why; the manager related to best planning must have the development of the navel center. The second center exists at the heart chakra (Anahata chakra); which is related to the control of negative emotion (Klesh vikar). At this center, the bioplasmic energy (Prana) gets purified and the organizing ability of the manager springs up. This kind of manager is very successful to lead the organizing teamwork in management scenarios. The third center exists at the throat (Vishuddhi Chakra) which resembles the leading domain of management. The managers, who have developed this center, will be excellent leaders to communicate the production scenario effectively between the planning and organizing sectors; so that all productivity of the management team is quite adequate. This center is related to mental sheaths (Manomaya Kosha) when this center is grown the manager will be more creative and powerful. The fourth divine quality is related to the center that exists between two eyebrows on the forehead. This center is known as “Agna Chakra” in yoga and the same exists in intellectual sheaths (Vigyanmaya Kosha). When this center is developed, the manager will be an introvert by which he/she will attain compassion, a sense of forgiveness, and kindness. By having these advanced qualities, the manager will be in a position to resolve any kind of dispute among the teamwork, managers, and the customer.

In this way, overall control of the management scenario resembles the development of divine qualities narrated in the prayer of Chalisa. That is why, Sri Tulsidas Ji has requested Sri Hanuman Ji (as a Guru) to provide four divine qualities at the four major centers of the body to complete any kind of work as a “Karm Prerana” (Inspirational work) for management and society. If these centers are grown and inculcated among the managers, the management institution will flourish a lot.

9.1 The Working Field (Domain) of the Managers

There are three types (level) of manager’s namely i) High-level managers, II) Middle-level managers, and iii) First-level Managers. The High-level manager has the resolution (Sankalpa) in mind related to the mission and vision of the business; whereas, The Middle-level Managers are responsible to interlink the resources of all activities, aims, and objects of the business. In the case of First level manager, the same has to bring out the blueprint of the business in three dimensions along with their team and available resources. These three kinds of Managers will have to achieve teamwork of Productivity and also maintain Total Quality Management (TQM).

The managers of the first level, medium level, and higher level are responsible for achieving the mission and vision of business management with proper planning, organizing, leading, and completing the end product of the aimed business. To achieve the overall goal of the management scenario, the high-level managers have to encourage and pat the middle-level managers and the middle-level managers have to cheer the first-level managers by providing certain kinds of incentives to obtain the best possible results from their work. In addition, the middle-level managers are committed to providing confidence and support to the first-level manager for obtaining the best possible result from them. Likewise, the first-level managers encourage and pat the teamwork associates by providing certain incentives in the salary, training for obtaining knowledge and skill, and also by providing appreciation letters to them (team and associates) for achieving the best possible quality work.

The present-day scenario of appreciation and patting are quiet helping hands to smooth the flow of business but they are temporary. In place of them, if the staff or associates gets inner development of their personalities, this will be of long-lasting appreciation and encouragement. Hence management foundation should include the process of achieving inner development of the personality of their staff and associates along with the present-day scheme. This kind of approach will be more sustainable in the management scenario. By adding both, the management or the institute will blossom with fragrance. This kind of approach is possible when the managers or the responsible officials of the foundation or institute can inculcate the development of the inner personality of the individual and including themselves.

9.2 Hanuman Chalisa for effective management

The image indicates how davik guna and certain Verses (Choupai) of Hanuman Chalisa are useful for time and mind management. These Verses of Hanuman Chalisa clarifies that how Bala (strength) is so important for time and mind management. Busy Managers forget the utility of time and mind management with i) Family ii) Friends & relatives and iii) For self (inner upliftment). Great success is achieved in the field of work by managers, but they are deprived of the development related to other segments (Family, Friends and relatives, and selves) of life. Busy managers will have invisible imprints of tension in life. Many thinkers favor the concentration of time and mind management in the field of work to achieve better productivity and less or no involvement in the other three fields, but they forget that ignoring the other three fields adds the invisible complex type of tension as imprints in the minds of managers. That is why, the busy manager must try to divide their time and mind in all four segments of life to remain free from complexity in life. The mismatch in time and mind management in all the fields of life can bring certain types of tensions as imprints but the same can be eliminated or minimized with the help of Yogic Practice. The manager should be aware that any tension can be eliminated by IRT (Instant Relaxation Technique), QRT (Quick Relaxation Technique), and DRT (Deep Relaxation Technique). The practice of IRT, QRT, and DRT can be utilized for physical, Bioplasmic, psychological, mental, and spiritual relaxation. In addition, Mediation is the best possible method to achieve freedom from any kind of imprints of tensions and conflicts of the mind.

The analysis reveals how a manager can distribute time and mind in four fields namely i) family ii) friends and relatives iii) field of work and iv) for self (inner upliftment) with the help of Yoga and Meditation. Spirituality (Yoga and Meditation) is an added tool for managers to organize time and mind in their respective fields in life without building any tension. In that way, managers will get another advantage of being hail and healthy; because the root cause of psycho-somatic disease is due to tension in the mind and physical body.

The use of certain verses (Choupai) of Hanuman Chalisa will enable managers to get proper guidance at the time of management crisis and the same has been explained in the image.

9.2.1 How Hanuman Chalisa is Useful in Management Scenario

The image shows how Hanuman Ji was an excellent manager; who always managed his time and mind in four fields of life. The management style of Shri Hanuman Ji was to maintain the sweet relation in the family domain; so that, no associate or fellow beings were in tension. He established his behavioral pattern with his friends and relatives adopting or using the “Work is Worship” concept. His relationship with Vibishan and Sugriva was free from any expectation (Karma-Phal). Shri Hanuman Ji was well responsible in the working field of his life like protecting Sugriva and in search of mother Janaki. He was working like a master (taking his own decisions) at the time of major conflict.

Sri Hanuman Ji was able to develop his spiritual domain by distinguishing or segregating between urgent and important works. Like Shri Hanuman Ji, a good manager should inject energy (networking) in urgent work and space (trafficking) in important work to achieve skill development ability.

A good manager should develop the four divine qualities (Davik Guna); So that, he or she should be free from the sudden impact of negative emotions or ideas.

9.3 Use of Body Language in Management

Certain verses (Choupai) of Hanuman Chalisa state the importance of the body language of Shri Hanuman Ji. The body language of the managers will influence the listeners or associates with clarity. The description related to Sri Hanuman Ji indicates that managers should have vibrant bodies, be well dressed, express the resolutions related to the institution, and work like a master, (not like a slave) taking complete responsibility for managing the results. Body language reveals the working- ability of a good manager. Hanuman Chalisa indicates that self-organized managers are more important in all ways. For example, well-expressed body language depends on the development of our breathing system. Slow and deep breathing impressively keeps the managerial expression.

Managerial expression should be self-explanatory for introducing managers in the management scenario. Certainly, the manager should not depend on others’ help in expressing his or her managerial ability. A good relationship with family and friends will yield a better management scenario.

9.4 Utility of Energy (Prana) in Management

The Managers must know about their bioplasmic energy (Prana). This is because it (Prana) is said to be the “Power of Absolute or God” (POA). This (Prana) supports the mind and cycle of breath; which are the main elements (Tattva) to uplift our consciousness (Chetana). If Prana is controlled systematically, the misuse of energy (Prana) can be minimized. Apana Prana (Gravitational Force) works in the excretory system; which drags down the higher Prana working in the digestive system. The same is known as Samana Prana (Strong Nuclear Force). Apana Prana drags down Samana Prana to fulfill its need. Therefore, if we change the dragging force of Apana Prana in an upward direction with the help of “Ashwani Mudra”; then the digestive system will be quite strong and this (Samana Prana) will be the supplementary source of Vyana Prana (weak nuclear force) and Udana Prana (Electro Magnetic Force). The upward movement of energy (Prana) can be achieved with the help of Bandha and Mudra in yoga.

When energy (Prana) gets upward movement, the managers will be able to divert their time and mind to the 4 dimensions of life. It is observed that the managers do not get ample time to share their time and mind with family, friends, and relatives. It is also experienced that they provide signed cheques to their family for meeting the household expenses. This indicates that the busy managers are not having time even for their family to share the emotion of family members. The management style of those managers is not worth it. The better management scenario provides and encourages managers to share their time and mind in all four dimensions (family, friends and relatives, the field of work, and for self). The sharing of time and mind in all the fields will certainly improve the skill attached to all rounds of development of management institute and also for managers. Hanuman Chalisa advises managers to develop their divine qualities; so that, they should be free from Klesh vikar (Negative emotion). This is because; Proper Management of Time and Mind needs to be free from Negative emotion (Klesh Vikar). This (Negative emotion) drains down our maximum amount of internal energy without any productive utility. Sharing of time and mind in all fields makes life vibrant. The divine qualities improve the utility of POA (Power of Absolute) and the same is very vibrant to make relations with others, especially with associates. If the healthy Power of the Absolute is maintained, then life will be very enjoyable. The highest benefit of proper Time and Mind Management is visible by Vibrant Prana, (Internal energy) if the same gets proper distribution. The analysis reveals how the verses (Choupai) of Hanuman Chalisa are helpful for the dynamic development of Prana (Energy). The Development of prana is possible when one takes the verse (Choupai) of Hanuman Chalisa as a mantra.

9.5 Industrial Development by Prana (Energy)

We do all the work with the help of energy (Urja). Hence it is important to know how to use Prana (Urja) in the day-to-day life of working scenario. For this, different types of Prana (Udana, Vyana, Samana, Prana, etc) are to be addressed in different fields of work. For instance, a verse like “Lilyo Tahi Madura Phal Janu” of Hanuman Chalisa is related to Samana Prana. The same (Samana Prana) is very useful to maintain good relations with family members. This Prana is situated in the digestive system. Similarly, Managers should deal with associates at working place when the main prana (existing at Heart Centre) is in dominating condition. Shri Hanuman Ji used the main prana at the time when he was dealing with Vibishan in Lanka.

Likewise, Managers should make use of Vyana Prana while dealing with friends and relatives. In the case of Udana Prana, managers can make use of the same while dealing with their senior officials & at the same time for self-inner development. Shri Hanuman Ji has used Udana Prana to evolve himself in the presence of Sri Ram Ji. It is important to note that knowledge of all types of Prana and their utility will reflect good behavioral patterns with colleagues and associates. This kind of scenario will indicate the proper management of Time as well as the Mind of the manager. It is interesting to note that Sages or Rishi of India use mainly Udana Prana (E.M.F); which is very essential for inner development.

Another verse (Choupai) of Hanuman Chalisa like “Durgam Kaj Jagat Ke Jete… sugam…” explores the meaning that how managers understand their “duty” along with the “rights” of associates to overcome the hurdles between team fellows and management. The message of the image explains that the managers must use different types of Urja (Prana) at four kinds of social affiliation; so that, the manager will be known as an excellent one.

9.6 How to raise acceptance quality through deep Contemplation (Chetana)

The huddle can be removed and the positive emotion for evolving the mind can be achieved by constant practice. The experience further reveals the practice of recitation of Choupai. This will purify the imprints of the mind. The progress in evolution can also be inculcated with the help of introspection on the self. During exploration, willpower will start working to provide a signal like an Alarm clock.

The constant practice of recitation along with yogic breathing will be felt by the inner three powers (Iksha Shakti,Kriya Shakti, and Gyana Shakti); and the same will spring up to sustain the domain of essential properties like tolerance, acceptance, appreciation, and love for an excellent managerial approach. The Choupai of Hanuman Chalisa as a mantra will explore all other positive qualities. The Choupai of Hanuman Chalisa related to devotion also helps managers to come out of the “Doer-ship” sense. Shri Tulsi Das Ji narrates the action of Shri Hanuman Ji in association with Mata Anjana Service to Sugriva work of Sri Rama in Lanka; reflecting his field of work and service to Sri Rama with “Daas Bhava”.

9.6.1 Recitation of Hanuman Chalisa provides a strong

base for the mind

It is commonly experienced that mind is like a monkey and the same fluctuates always. It seems that a balanced person’s mind fluctuates about 26,000 or more times in 24 hours. The disturbed mind fluctuates much more compared to so call balanced mind. The Fluctuation of the mind can be minimized or eliminated if the mind gets a solid base to rest for a long time. It has been experienced that a solid base of the mind can turn the mind into blissfulness.

It is also observed that the mind fluctuates or jumps from one person to another, from one place to another place, from one object or material to another, and also from one situation to another situation. The mind goes on jumping and gets tired. Science mentions this thought fluctuation of mind as Brainwave with Beta frequency. When brain frequency is reduced, the fluctuation of the thinking process is also minimized. Yoga found the revolution of brainwaves by controlling the breath.

It is established in yoga that if one has fifteen cycles per minute; then, he or she is in the beta (B) wave of the brain. This indicates that the frequency of the brain is about fifteen cycles per second. In case the frequency of brainwave is kept less than Beta-Phase, it is a healthy sign of brain management. It is experienced that even inner recitation of Hanuman Chalisa helps to minimize the frequency of the brain. The reduction in mental frequency is taken as a base to keep the mind for some time at that moment. Prolong Practice of Hanuman Chalisa recitation can bring down the frequency of the mind in the Alpha wave; which is about ten cycles per second. That is why, QRT is catching importance to reduce the frequency of the brain; if the mind is at the higher phase of beta or even at the level of beta, there is a possibility of anger, fear, disappointment, sadness, disturbed mind, anxiety, etc to erupt and we have to face them. To get rid of all these troubles, the recitation of Chalisa is carried out keeping head, heart, and hand at a higher level; then, the benefit is bound to come.

Likewise, during Klesh vikar, the inner disturbances of the mind grab the situation. In this situation, Meditation on Hanuman Ji can be a solution. Pranayama and other breathing technique can also reduce the frequency of the brain.

9.7 Cause of Jet Lag and Hanuman Chalisa

Managers are very busy in day time at work spots; especially, the managers working in multinational companies. Because of this, they have to travel late at night

and they are prone to jet lag problem. The jet lag problem is caused by the less functioning of Melatonin secretion in the mind.

Working unnaturally, time gets imbalanced. This is because; the pineal gland and pituitary glands get affected. The Pineal gland is very effective in the mind at night rest. But that cycle gets disturbed for I.T. (information technology) and other professionals as they have to work late at night. In deep sleep, the pineal gland secretes melatonin. The same (melatonin) secretion gets minimized or lost at midnight as the secretion cycle lasts between 9 pm and 2 am.

Melatonin controls the imbalanced nature of the biological arena. In a disturbed mind, the problems like anger, forgetfulness, irritation, insomnia, and the digestive system get imbalanced. Because of these disturbances, the immunity of the body becomes weak. This also brings tension; which in turn, reduces the positive mental strength. These problems are enforced in the railway department, call center, IT, hospital, power plant, and the people working in shift operations. Foreign travellers also get this kind of problem as mostly they have to travel at midnight time.

To get rid of these kinds of disasters, Hanuman Chalisa and yoga can provide rescues. The relaxation techniques (IRT, QRT, and DRT) along with slow and deep breathing will be useful to minimize this kind of problem. If the recitation of verses is carried out along with slow and deep breathing, the victim should get the benefit to make the biological system strong. To overcome the problem of insomnia, the recitation, and mediation of Hanuman Chalisa is easy and most suitable. This makes the Sadhaka interested in yogic breathing and prepares them free from tension.

9.8 Advantage of Hanuman Chalisa for Managers

Managers mainly work in two types of tension. They are namely i) tension due to obtaining adequate profit in business and ii) working tension caused because of teamwork and associates. The tension is unavoidable. But, the managers have to find some ways to minimize or better to eradicate the tension; so that, their physical and mental health are kept Hale and Healthy. Some techniques like Instant Relaxation Techniques, Quick Relaxation Techniques, and Deep Relaxation Techniques are available to get rid of tension.

In addition, the tension can easily be minimized by getting the vision connected with the yogic posture of Shri Hanuman Ji. Likewise, the advantages to keep the sound health of managers are well defined in relaxation techniques; where slow and deep breathing should be reinforced.

To have the good mental health of managers, the recitation of Chalisa with the help of Yogic means can also ensure the benefit of sound minds of management people. Similarly, managers can be more vibrant, active, and powerful; if they find some time to meditate on any Swaroopa of Siddha Path Hanuman Ji. Through meditation practice, the deep and inner intellectual ability of managers will spring up. Additionally, managers can also grow in the spiritual field, depending on the practice of meditation on Shri Hanuman Ji. The features like kindness, forgiveness, compassion, and mercy will be added to the personality of the managers when they truly follow the deep meditation technique. In brief, Hanuman Chalisa will provide better time and mind management for managers in four fields of life namely i) in the family domain ii) in the field of work iii) in keeping good relations with friends & relatives, and iv) for self-improvement through yoga and spirituality.

10. HEALTHY LIVING AND FOUR BOONS

10.0 Hanuman Chalisa and Health

Now – a – days, many types of diseases are endorsed by seeing dispensaries and hospitals at every corner of the town and cities. There are many super specialty hospitals in every city but the number of patients seems to be still larger than the medical facility available. Healthy life needs to tackle the illness or disease at its root but unfortunately; medical science does not reach the root of the disease. This science (medical science) understands the types of disease, the reason for the disease, and the remedy for the disease. But, science does not have any methodology to reach the root of the disease; because of this, the disease is not completely cured but gets minimized and postponed. To understand the need and essential function of the root, Lord Buddha gave the Four Noble Paths of the Universal Concept; by which any kind of problem including the disease could be tackled up to its root.

Shri Tulsidas ji has given the methodology for a healthy life in Hanuman Chalisa. During the recitation of Hanuman Chalisa on inhalation and exhalation cycle (a kind of Pranayama), the same maintains the purity of health in life. This is because; the prana (vital energy) gets circulated even to the diseased cells of the system. The proper way for the recitation of Hanuman Chalisa comprises Puraka (Longer breath in inhalation), Inner Kumbhak (Retention of the breath at the end of inhalation), Rechaka (Long exhalation or breath out), and Vahya Kumbhak (Retention of breath at the end of exhalation) fulfill the complete cycle of healthy Pranayama. Through this process, physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual benefits in health could easily be obtained.

In medical science, the reason and remedial aspects of the chronic disease are tackled and the living pattern is somehow maintained. Hanuman Chalisa takes the Prana (energy) up to the root of the disease which is called Adhi (root) for the Vyadhi (disease). Upanishad and Yoga Vasistha Maha Ramayana clarify the point of Adhi & Vyadhi and also provide the remedial solution to reach the root (Adhi).

For example, the penal gland starts drying up or progressively becoming active and the same can be kept vibrant by reciting Hanuman Chalisa properly. This gland (pineal gland) is very essential for the development of Medula and also for a disease-free life. In addition, proper recitation of Hanuman Chalisa brings the equilibrium condition among the conscious mind, subconscious mind, and unconscious mind too. The pure mind makes us free from insomnia as well as another kind of mental stress due to worldly problems. Frequently reciting Hanuman Chalisa is one of the reasons to keep better health for people living in hilly terrain as well in forest areas and Plain areas. This is because; the recitation in a yogic way provides rhythmic breathing (inhalation and exhalation) to keep our mind quiet and calm. The yogic breathing technique added with recitation has many added advantages in respect of better mental health.

10.1. Definition of Complete Health and Yoga

It is observed that the basic need for the people is to have i) bread & butter ii) clothing and iii) shelter (building) to lead a healthy life. After this, the people think of additional facilities like connecting roads, electricity, and communication facility. By achieving all this, we feel to be self-sustained and healthy people.

Similarly, for healthy life we must have initial needs like “Yuktahar Viharasyacha…”, or Proper food and controlled amusement and healthiness of five sheaths; which resembles bread & butter, clothing, and shelter requirements. Likewise, the purity of Nadi and Chakra (energy center) of the body resembles the peripheral requirement of the living like electricity, road, and communication management. By obtaining these, there will not be any hindrance to the smooth flow of Bio Plasmic energy (Prana) to keep us in healthy condition. In brief, it can be analyzed that the healthiness of five sheaths (Panchakosha) and bioplasmic energy (prana) are the major requirements to maintain a healthy life.

According to UNO guidelines, a healthy life is comprised of i) physical ii) emotional iii) mental, and iv) spiritual. This kind of definition of UNO endorses the concept given by Maharshi Patanjali while showing the essential need for Aastang Yoga.

In the 17th century, Shri Tulsidas ji has given four domains to achieve purity in a healthy life and they are namely i) Bala (Strength) ii) Klesh Vikar (Negative emotion to be removed) iii) Buddhi (Intellect) and iv) Vidya (Knowledge). These centers exist in our body at the Navel center (Manipura chakra), Heart center (Anahata chakra), Throat Center (Vishudhi chakra), and Point between two eyebrows (Agna chakra). All three definitions (UNO, Patanjali, and Shri Tulsidas ji) are summarized in the self-explanatory image.

The image clarifies how the definition of UNO for sound health resembles the concept given by Tulsi das ji and also the Yogic concept given by Maharshi Patanjali. A similar kind of concept given by Lord Buddha is to have sound health by reaching the root of the problem.

10.2 The Four Noble Paths of Buddha

Medical science has not obtained the clarity to keep up sound health throughout life. Lord Buddha found the reasons for not maintaining a disease-free life. The Four Noble Paths of Buddha clarifies why the world could not achieve a person free from disease or any kind of problems. To understand the need and essential function of the root, Lord Buddha gave the Four Noble Path a Universal Concept; by which, any kind of problem including disease could be tackled up to its root. For instance, he said that i) disease exists ii) there is a reason for the disease iii) there is a remedy for the disease, and iv) there is a root from where the disease springs up. This kind of concept (four noble paths of Buddha) applies to disease, poverty, education, terrorism, social crime, or any kind of complex problem in day-to-day life.

According to Lord Buddha, till we tackle the root of the disease (which is Adhi); one cannot retain sound health throughout the life. It is observed that the mental sheath (Manomaya Kosha) is the root of the disease. In an intellectual sheath (Vigyanmaya Kosha), there is no trace of physical disease unless deep imprints exist. The mental sheath keeps the seeds (Beeza) of psycho and soma. The seeds could be due to tension, unfavorable problems, and hidden imprints. The mental sheath (Manomaya Kosha) could be the source of fear deep anger, anxiety, and depression. But when the positive emotion is developed and Manomaya Kosha (mental sheath), there will be the development of tolerance, acceptance, appreciation, and love.

Shri Tulsi Das Ji, Shri Hanuman Ji, and Shri Ram Ji, all were free from physical ailments; this is because they had no hidden imprints at mental sheath (Manomaya Kosha) as well as they were fully developed in the intellectual sheath (Vigyanmaya Kosha) & bless sheath (Anandmaya Kosha). In the age of the rat race, physical strength (Bala) is very important and one can learn from the concept of celibacy adopted by Shri Hanuman Ji. The observation of celibacy should be carried out in the mental domain, physical domain, and spiritual domain (Vani). The illness is visible or felt in different systems of the body but its roots are somewhere else internally.

10.3 Root of Disease

The five sheaths of the body are the container for complete energy (urja) of the mini-universe (human body). Generally, it is observed that sickness or disease is i) physical ii) emotional, and iii) psychological. But the roots are somewhere else.

The image indicates that the root of every kind of disease exists in the mental sheath (Manomaya Kosha). The knowledge of mental sheath is very essential along with the all other four sheaths of the human body. In this sheath (mental sheath) the imprints of i) pain and pleasure ii) loss and gain iii) respect and insult are the ingredients to erupt as seeds of disease related to tension in this scientific and industrial development age. The tension unnecessarily makes the adrenal gland very active which is normally given as a safety requirement in the human system. To get rid of the unnecessary effect of tension on the adrenal gland, the slow and deep breathing process helps a lot. The tension gets percolated in the bioplasmic sheath (Pranayama Kosha) and also in the physical sheath (annamaya Kosha) in due course from the mental sheath (Manomaya Kosha). The bioplasmic sheath is below the mental sheath; hence when tension percolates in Pranayama Kosha, our cycle of breathing becomes shallow and fast. To come out from the shallow and fast breathing, proper food and enjoyment (“Yuktahar Viharasyacha”) are to be followed as mentioned in Bhagavad Gita.

The physical sheath (Annamaya Kosha) is below the bioplasmic sheath (Pranamaya Kosha). When tension is not resolved at the level of Pranmaya Kosha, the same enters into a physical sheath where “Apana prana” (gravitational force) gets disturbed and the disease erupts in five weak systems of the human body. It is interesting to note that there is no disease in intellectual and bliss sheath. Hence, the people who can keep the mind and prana (both) at intellectual sheath and bliss sheath are free from the common problems of sickness. That is why; the sages are free from diseases.

The Aastang yoga consisting of Bahiranga and Antarang yoga helps to obtain purity up to bliss sheath and beyond. The five sheaths are the base of the body and the five Pranas are the functional aspects of the five systems. When both are kept pure, hale, and healthy; then one can understand the mystery related to the internal energy flow in the human body (micro-universe). This scenario can be achieved with the help of Aastang yoga.

For example, yoga provides insurance for the human system and they are namely) Asana and Pranayama ensure the healthiness of the physical body ii) Yama and Niyama (do’s and don’ts) keep us in a healthy behavioral pattern; because of which, positive emotions are grown iii) the scenario of healthy mental health can be obtained with the help of Pratyahara and Dharana; which improves the Viveka (it is beyond the intellectual limitation) iv) the spiritual domain is developed with the help of Dyana and Samadhi. By developing all four domains of humanity, life becomes pleasant and peaceful. These four domains resemble the four divine qualities (Daivik guna) of Hanuman Ji which are namely i) Bala (Strength) ii) Klesh Vikar (removal of negative emotion) iii) Buddhi (intellect) and iv) Vidya (knowledge). Shri Tulsi Das Ji has requested Shri Hanuman Ji to provide him with these four boons.

10.4 Hanuman Chalisa and Health Management

The first aim of life is to keep our physical health in good condition. The image indicates that four divine qualities related to certain verses of Hanuman Chalisa can be helpful to keep us in a healthy condition. The verses explain how the four domains of health can be interlinked with yoga. It will be appropriate if we take both yoga and Hanuman Chalisa together to explore the healthiness of the physical body. That is why, the emphasis is given that each verse of Hanuman Chalisa should be recited along with a long breath in and long breath out process (resembles Pranayama); so that, the Anuloma Viloma part of Pranayama can be utilized while reciting the Chalisa mantra (Choupai).

It is also experienced that purification of human chakra can be obtained by reciting Hanuman Chalisa and when Pranayama is added to recitation, the internal energy flow is very smooth and free from any kind of obstruction (as chakras get purity). This is very interesting to note that the development of Purushartha (asset) depends on the purity of human chakra. The same (purity of chakra) can be achieved easily with the help of reading Hanuman Chalisa. The figure explains how the verse (Choupai) of Hanuman Chalisa develops the inner chakra (center) of the human body. That is why; the Hanuman Chalisa became very popular and very useful related to leading a trouble-free life by the common mass.

10.5 Health Management through Chakra (centers)

In modern times, there are many pathies (allopathy, homeopathy, naturopathy…) available to manage diseases; but all are not able to make a patient completely free from the ailment.

Yoga provides solace to get rid of diseases. For instance, “Hath Yoga Pradipika and Yoga Chudamani Upanishad” provides certain approaches for cleaning the chakra existing in the body and obtaining freedom from the ailment. Those who do not have exposure to yoga can make use of recitation of Hanuman Chalisa on the breath cycle to purify the chakra and in turn, they can also get the advantage of freedom from the ailment. In a nutshell, we can conclude that Hanuman Chalisa is the means to purify the internal chakra and system of the body; by which, common people can enjoy life in a better way.

10.6 How to come out from the disease?

There are many ailments but yoga has a universal medicine called “Prana (urja)”. Usually, prana is involuntary and unconscious; which is supposed to be made active and cooperative wherever the same (prana) lags. The diseases occur when prana in different regions of the body is non-volunteer and inactive.

In this way, the system which lags behind the prana gets trapped by the disease. Yoga makes all kinds of Pranas volunteer and active so that wherever the prana is not in adequate amounts, the healthy prana from another region will come forward to make the weak prana healthy. This way, prana works as single medicine for every kind of ailment.

However, other pathy uses different kinds of medicines for different ailments. Yoga takes care of the healthiness of Ida (exists in the left side of the body connected with the right lobe) and Pingla path (exists in the right side of the body connected with the left lobe); and that way both (the healthiness of Ida and Pingla) makes the prana volunteer and active. The same (volunteer and active prana) works as yogic medicine wherever prana is weak in whole parts of the body. The healthy prana works like a preventive, curative, and immune development capability of five systems of the body. For example, if we adopt the procedure of slow and deep breathing, we can make the prana healthy as well as the same will prevent common diseases. It has been observed that if the breath cycle is about 15 cycles per minute (one inhalation and one exhalation makes one cycle); then we are in the Beta phase of the brain and the brain frequency is termed as 15 cycles per second. At that time, the person is said to be an extrovert and they may keep their general health in normal condition. When the breath cycle is brought about 10 cycles per minute (brain frequency about 10 cycles per second); then the person is said to be in the Alpha phase. At that time, the person becomes an introvert.

Further, if we can bring down the breath cycle say about 5 cycles per second or less, we are deep in introversion and the brain cycle is said to be in the Theta phase. Similarly, when the breath cycle is brought tending toward 1 cycle per second or lower, the person gets the delta phase of the brain frequency. Whenever the brain cycle is in the alpha phase we start keeping good health. But, to keep our brain in theta and delta phases; this will ensure health free from major diseases except the disease related to Prarabdha karma (the action or karma is to be enjoyed in this life).

Slow and deep breathing ensures the healthiness of energy (prana) and the space (mind) function. By equalizing Ida and Pingla’s path, one can keep himself or herself away from day-to-day diseases. In this connection, the yogic institutions like SVYASA (Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana), Bengaluru; Kaivalya Dhama, Lonavla; Bihar School of Yoga, Munger and other established yogic institutions can be contacted for keeping the body hale and healthy without or with minimum use of medicines.

10.7 How to diagnose the disease?

Let us keep our palms below our nostrils and try to feel which nostril is functioning more vigorously. If the left nostril is working more, the heart (manas) is more restless. Similarly, if the right nostril is functioning more, then the head is restless. If the movement of breath is not equal but the difference is not very high, then nature (Prakriti) will solve the problem easily. But if the difference is quite high, then we must adapt the process of yoga to balance them. When the difference of breath in both nostrils is quite high for a long time, the same becomes the main cause of disease.

Likewise, we can understand the healthiness of our cycle of breath. For example, if we inhale and exhale (cycle) more than fifteen cycles per minute, then our heart is likely to get diseased. If one takes about twenty cycles or more breath cycles per minute, he or she ensures that one is going to be trapped in chronic disease. By these four steps of nostril breathing, we can diagnose how far we are hale and healthy of disease.

10.7.1 Utility of Breath with the Help of Left and Right Nostrils

We do the work in a day without paying attention, whether the right nostril or left nostril is more effective. Because of this, many times we use improper energy for proper work. For instance, if a marketing manager is working with the right nostril, he or she is utilizing proper energy as one has to convince the client. That is why, the marketing manager needs the right nostril’s function more than the left nostril’s; so that, and he or she can convince the client effectively. This is because; conveying facts and figures requires more energy.

Similarly, the finance manager needs a calm mind, hence he needs left nostrils should work a little more effectively; otherwise, the utility of energy will not be proper. Likewise, the resource development manager needs the energy flow equal from both nostrils, especially at the time of solving any dispute; otherwise, the desired result will not be achieved. In the field of work, flow from the right nostril is desirable; whereas, at the time of dealing with family and friends, left nostril breath flow should be a little more than the right nostril. This will be more desirable. Ideally, on all occasions both nostrils should have an equal flow of breath; which can be obtained with the help of yoga. In Yoga, we have to examine that timely use of nostril energy should not affect the overall health of five major systems.

10.7.2 Hanuman Chalisa helps to reduce the human weight

Present day, the overweight is a big problem in health management. The mind is responsible for it. When the mind consists of wrong-Desire, Fear, Anger, Anxiety, Depression, and Heartedness; some forms of the disease are bound to come. The overweight problem is mainly due to mismanagement of the Thyroid. The thyroid gland is connected with sound. Hence proper recitation of Hanuman Chalisa with loud sound will help to minimize the overweight problem. In connection with this, prolonged “Bhramari” can put a check on the overweight. Dr. Nagendra Ji, (Nagendra Guruji) has developed a unique technique to overcome the problem of overweight by right nostril breathing in and out taking slow and deep inhalation and exhalation. This kind of right nostril breathing should be carried out four times every day (before breakfast, before lunch, before evening tea, and before night dinner). Each time, Twenty-Seven rounds (Twenty-Seven cycles) of nostril breathing must be done; so that, one hundred eight (108) times right nostril breathing could be achieved in a day before meals. This process has given good and healthy results for reducing overweight.

11. CONCLUSION

11.0 Cause of creation

To know the cause of creation, we have to understand the utility of energy that exists in the human system. Any creation happens due to certain causes namely i) matter (Padartha) ii) Energy (Shakti) iii) mental ability or state, and iv) excellence (vishist or newness). These factors only create any items.

For example, mud pots, which are created by i) mud or soil (matter) ii) a wheel (the means of energy) iii) the Mental state of the potter (mind level), and iv) A Special skill of the potter. These points (centers) have been shown at four centers of human beings. These centers of human beings need energy to work up inside and the same are explained by utilizing five pranas (Panch Prana) that exist in our body. When we need to activate the matter (Padartha), we need Samana Prana.

Likewise, when we need main Urja (Shakti) for creation then we should have main Prana or Mana Prana. This kind of Prana (Main) was available to Shri Hanuman Ji utilizing different yoga and the same is described in the image.

When a level of developed mind is required then Vyana Prana is necessary. Likewise, for making an excellent pot, the Udana Prana (Electromagnetic force) is necessary. The utility of Prana in creation, where four essential steps are necessary; depends on how far we have developed each type of prana through Pranayama or by other methods of yoga. To make this understanding more clear, a clear picture of the room analogy explained in respect of five pranas and five Kosha has to be understood.

11.1 How does Hanuman Chalisa modify the quality (Guna) and Language or Vani (Speech)?

The image describes how the four pillars (Points) of the human body are related to the language expressed at the respective point. For example, the person who feels might be right (Vahubali) gets attached to conditional love, unsuccessful attempt, and solving the internal problem; because of this, they express themselves under internal pressure.

They show their expression utilizing unwanted logic & harsh words while dealing with associates. All the way, the common people live a life full of troubles. In this scenario, Hanuman Chalisa can make a change from negative thinking to positive thinking by strengthening their positive emotion.

The image “How to Transform the Human Behavior in respect of Quality & Language by Chalisa” is self-explanatory.

11.2 Solution of problem utilizing Japa (Rosary bead counting)

Guru Nanak Dev speaks that the whole world is suffering from pain, trouble, violence, and also by other means of hatred. To come out of the “Dukha” (trouble), he gave the means of “Japa”. Sri Tulsi Das Ji also expressed a similar concept to getting rid of trouble or Dukha through Bhakti Yoga.

Hanuman Chalisa provides solutions for every kind of trouble (kashta). To achieve the process of inculcating all divine qualities from his Guru, Sri Tulsi Das Ji got the four pillars of divine qualities. Similarly, the common people will also get the blessing of Shri Hanuman Ji utilizing reciting Hanuman Chalisa.

11.3 How the Boons of Hanuman Chalisa work?

The four centers in the body are responsible for cause, energy distribution center, guide or guna center, and skill development center for common people. These four centers are also related to three loka namely i) Physical domain or Bhoutik Loka consisting of Manipur chakra and below two chakra ii) Subtle domain (Daivik loka) consisting of Anahata (Heart center), and Vishuddhi Chakra (Throat center).

Likewise, Adhyatmik loka (spiritual domain) comprises Agna Chakra (the center between two eyebrows); so that, the spiritual domain gets opened up. The Sadhaka (who practice Hanuman Chalisa) does the action like a tortoise. Like the tortoise, Sadhaka comes out of the shell of Daivik and Adhyatmik loka and enjoys the action or scenario of the world in the physical domain. As soon as worldly work is finished, again the Sadhaka withdraws from the physical domain and shrinks to the inner domain for taking rest.

11.4 Hanuman Chalisa provides easy meditation (Dhyana)

Let us examine ourselves at four centers namely i) Navel Center (Manipura Chakra) ii) Heart Center (Anahata Chakra) iii) Throat Center (Vishuddi Chakra) and iv) Center between two eyebrows (Agna Chakra). Most of us are weak at least one or two or three or all the centers. We need not get worried. The different activities (Divine action) of Shri Hanuman Ji, if meditated at the respective center; the same (meditation) will evolve those respective centers.

For instance, the scenario of bringing the Sanjeevini Butti, the Shri Hanuman Ji’s conversation with Mata Janaki in Ashok Vatika, the flying posture of Shri Hanuman Ji during the sea cross and the presence of Shri Hanuman Ji in Ram- Darbar (were all four Tattva exist) is the inspirational imagination while reciting Hanuman Chalisa.

In this connection, It is interesting to note that the “Ram-Darbar” of any temple consists of i) Lord Rama (The Soul or Gyana Tattva in Spirituality) ii) Mother Janaki (The Primordial Matter or Prakriti in Spirituality) iii) Lakshmana (The Jivatma in Spirituality), and iv) Shri Hanuman Ji (The Power of the Almighty in Spirituality). They (four idols) represent four fundamental tattva of science that exists in the universe namely i) Proton (equivalent to Lord Rama) ii) Neutron (equivalent to Mother Janaki) iii) Electron (equivalent to Shri Hanuman Ji), and iv) Neutrino (equivalent to Jivatma) in the universe.

Any status (Posture) of Shri Hanuman Ji will help the Sadhaka to get evolve in meditation. However, Sadhaka can change the image for meditation depending on the choice. The main attention is to be observed in respect of breath and mind together. Both should be concentrated at that very center. After activating all four centers, the Sadhaka should move along with all three (Mansa, Karmna, and Vacha) towards Turiya or Sahasrara to get stability. This way, the process of meditation can be adopted and the same can be explored. When the Hanuman Tattva becomes the effulgent light and the same is visible completely in each portion of the body including the skin of the body, then this state will be the state of Samriddhi.
